On a generalization of Pólya’s theorem

We consider generalizations of Pólya’s theorem to the case of entire functions taking algebraic values at natural or integer points.

The weak pigeonhole principle for function classes in S 12

It is well known that S ¹₂ cannot prove the injective weak pigeonhole principle for polynomial time functions unless RSA is insecure. Structure of minimizers in linear-quadratic Bolza problems of optimal control

In this paper, we study intersections of extremals in a linear-quadratic Bolza problem of optimal control. The structure of the inter-sections is described. We show that this structure implies the semipositive definiteness of the quadratic cost functional. In addition, we derive necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of minimizers.     

On the Weak Invariance Principle for Stationary Sequences under Projective Criteria

In this paper, we study the central limit theorem and its weak invariance principle for sums of a stationary sequence of random variables, via a martingale decomposition. Our conditions involve the conditional expectation of sums of random variables with respect to the distant past. The results contribute to the clarification of the central limit question for stationary sequences. 柱形分布的电荷产生的电势

将无限长线电荷看成二维平面上的一个“源”,利用电势叠加原理计算了无限长柱形均匀分布的电荷产生的电势.这些柱体的截面电荷分布包括可解析表示和不可求解表示两种,后者可以通过数值计算给出结果.因此这种方法实际上可以计算任意截面柱形电荷分布的电势.通过计算,展示了各种电荷分布所产生电场的特性和共同特征.     

40Ar+诱导无定形碳到金刚石纳米晶相变的研究

通过60 keV的⁴⁰Ar⁺辐照无定形碳靶合成了大量尺寸不同的金刚石纳米颗粒.高分辨透射电子显微镜配合能量色散X射线谱和电子衍射以及Raman谱分析的结果表明，这些嵌于具有扰动石墨结构薄膜中的纳米金刚石颗粒，其成核率很高(约为10¹³/cm²)，而且可以生长到较大的尺寸，有的甚至可以达到微米量级.对其相转变过程也进行了初步探讨. 关键词： 离子束 金刚石纳米晶 相变 透射电子显微镜     

Nonlinear Schrödinger equations with symmetric multi-polar potentials

This paper deals with a class of nonlinear elliptic equations involving a critical power-nonlinearity as well as a potential featuring multiple inverse square singularities. When the poles form a symmetric structure, it is natural we wonder how the symmetry affects such mutual interaction. The present paper means to study this aspect from the point of view of the existence of solutions inheriting the same symmetry properties as the set of singularities.
