In most speckle shearing interferometers image shearing is performed by means of a Michelson interferometer or by means of a wedge prism covering half of the aperture of the camera objective. We present a speckle shearing interferometer which utilizes a microprism array for this purpose. It is placed between the test specimen and the camera. In comparision with a wedge prism it exhibits some advantages: it needs no exact alignment, it works with any camera lens, the shearing distance and direction of shearing can be easily changed by changing position (resp. angular orientation) of the element. Phase stepping for computer evaluation of the speckle shearing interferograms is performed by the translation of the shearing element. A special translation stage was developed. By combining speckle interferometry (SI) measurements with speckle photography, the fringe visibility can be kept high despite the presence of a large bulk or rotating motion of the object. This combined technique improves the usability and measuring range of both pulsed and phase-stepped SI-methods. Time-average electronic holography (also known as TV holography) is a widespread technique used in real-time, non-contact, whole-field vibration measurement. The quantitative interpretation of time-averaged fringe patterns is difficult because of speckle noise and of the decreasing visibility of higher-order Bessel fringes. Speckle noise may only be reduced during image acquisition, by multiple-frame averaging.The objective of this paper is to present two new methods allowing to obtain time-averaged fringe patterns presenting a high resolution and a high contrast between dark and bright fringes, as well as the associated quantitative interpretation. They are based on the elimination of the random phase component and on the reduction of the random intensity component of the time-averaged fringe pattern. The fringe patterns obtained by this method may be efficiently filtered in order to provide the precise locations of the Bessel-type fringes associated with the object vibration. The methods rely on the use of the simplest standard equipment, without any need for modulators or stroboscopic devices. Quantitative fringe interpretation is straightforward and based on the method of fringe skeletonizing and indexing. We demonstrated the tunable contact resistance in pentacene thin film transistor (TFT) by inserting an organic-inorganic hybrid interlayer between Au electrode and pentacene layer. The contact resistance of pentacene-TFT varies with concentration of pentacene-TFT varies with concentration of MoOx in organic-inorganic hybrid interlayer. MoOx in organic-inorganic hybrid interlayer. The contact resistance of the device with 55 wt% MoOx doped pentacene interlayer is about 7.8 times smaller than that of device without interlayer at the gate voltage of −20 V. Comparing the properties of pentacene-TFT without interlayer, the performance of the pentacene-TFT with 55 wt% MoOx doped pentacene was significantly improved: saturation mobility increased from 0.39 to 0.87 cm2/V s, threshold voltage reduced from −21.3 to −7.2 V, and threshold swing varied from 3.75 to 1.39 V/dec.
