Numerical analysis for stochastic age-dependent population equations with Poisson jumps

In this paper, stochastic age-dependent population equations with Poisson jumps are considered. In general, most of stochastic age-dependent population equations with jumps do not have explicit solutions, thus numerical approximation schemes are invaluable tools for exploring their properties. The main purpose of this paper is to develop a numerical Euler scheme and show the convergence of the numerical approximation solution to the true solution.     

Examples of non-Kähler Hamiltonian circle manifolds with the strong Lefschetz property

In this paper we construct six-dimensional compact non-Kähler Hamiltonian circle manifolds which satisfy the strong Lefschetz property themselves but nevertheless have a non-Lefschetz symplectic quotient. This provides the first known counterexamples to the question whether the strong Lefschetz property descends to the symplectic quotient. We also give examples of Hamiltonian strong Lefschetz circle manifolds which have a non-Lefschetz fixed point submanifold. In addition, we establish a sufficient and necessary condition for a finitely presentable group to be the fundamental group of a strong Lefschetz manifold. We then use it to show the existence of Lefschetz four-manifolds with non-Lefschetz finite covering spaces.     

Scale invariance rule in electromagnetic scattering

The volume integral equation formalism is used to prove the scale invariance rule for an arbitrarily sized scatterer with an arbitrary shape, morphology, and orientation. The only assumptions are that the scatterer is made of optically isotropic linear materials and is embedded in a homogeneous, linear, isotropic, and nonabsorbing infinite medium.     

Strong Vector Equilibrium Problems

In this paper, the existence of the solution for strong vector equilibrium problems is studied by using the separation theorem for convex sets. The arc-wise connectedness and the closedness of the strong solution set for vector equilibrium problems are discussed; and a necessary and sufficient condition for the strong solution is obtained.     

Cardy's formula for some dependent percolation models

We prove Cardy's formula for rectangular crossing probabilities in dependent site percolation models that arise from a deterministic cellular automaton with a random initial state. The cellular automaton corresponds to the zero-temperature case of Domany's stochastic Ising ferromagnet on the hexagonal lattice  (with alternating updates of two sublattices) [7]; it may also be realized on the triangular lattice 𝕋 with flips when a site disagrees with six, five and sometimes four of its six neighbors. We prove that the coinvariant ring of the irreducible Coxeter group of type H₄ has the strong Lefschetz property.
