This investigation produces a theory with a variety of applications in functional analysis. For example, a specialization of some of our general results will yield such classical compactness theorems as Schauder's theorem, Mazur's theorem, and Gelfand-Philips's theorem.

In this review, we detail the progress throughout the years toward developing truly orthogonal polymerization mechanisms and modification procedures en route to complex macromolecular structures built from synthetic polymer materials. The orthogonal modifications of polymer side-chains and end-groups via sequential click reactions is described providing post-polymerization routes to functional materials and unique polymer topologies. Further, historical and modern orthogonal polymerization methodologies are thoroughly reviewed showing the evolution of the field through the decades long study of selective polymerization mechanisms that provide unique copolymer structures that are typically difficult to achieve. These include the combinations of reversible deactivation radical polymerization mechanisms with a variety of polymerization mechanisms including ring opening polymerizations, ring opening metathesis polymerizations, and cationic polymerizations, to name a few.  相似文献

We discuss the effects of the surface slip on streamline patterns and their bifurcations for the peristaltic transport of a Newtonian fluid. The flow is in a two-dimensional symmetric channel or an axisymmetric tube. An exact expression for the stream function is obtained in the wave frame under the assumptions of long wavelength and low Reynolds number for both cases. For the discussion of the particle path in the wave frame, a system of nonlinear autonomous differential equations is established and the methods of dynamical systems are used to discuss the local bifurcations and their topological changes. Moreover, all types of bifurcations and their topological changes are discussed graphically. Finally, the global bifurcation diagram is used to summarize the bifurcations.  相似文献

If an embedding of V satisfies the condition that two vertices are adjacent if and only if they are at unit distance apart, then G is called a strict unit-distance graph in the plane. A graph G is a (strict) co-unit-distance graph, if both G and its complement are (strict) unit-distance graphs in the plane. We show by an exhaustive enumeration that there are exactly 69 co-unit-distance graphs (65 are strict co-unit-distance graphs), 55 of which are connected (51 are connected strict co-unit-distance graphs), and seven are self-complementary.  相似文献

In this paper we analyze the rate of local convergence of the Newton primal-dual interior-point method when the iterates are kept strictly feasible with respect to the inequality constraints. It is shown under the classical conditions that the rate is q-quadratic when the functions associated to the binding inequality constraints are concave. In general, the q-quadratic rate is achieved provided the step in the primal variables does not become asymptotically orthogonal to any of the gradients of the binding inequality constraints.  相似文献
