C n -almost automorphic solutions for partial neutral functional differential equations

In this work, we study the existence of C ⁿ -almost periodic solutions and C ⁿ -almost automorphic solutions (n?≥?1), for partial neutral functional differential equations. We prove that the existence of a bounded integral solution on ?⁺ implies the existence of C ⁿ -almost periodic and C ⁿ -almost automorphic strict solutions. When the exponential dichotomy holds for the homogeneous linear equation, we show the uniqueness of C ⁿ -almost periodic and C ⁿ -almost automorphic strict solutions.     

On Incidence Algebras of Combinatorial Inverse Monoids

We study the incidence algebra of the reduced standard division category of a combinatorial bisimple inverse monoid [with (E(S), ≤) locally finite], and we describe semigroups of poset type (i.e., a combinatorial inverse semigroup for which the corresponding Möbius category is a poset) as being combinatorial strict inverse semigroups. Up to isomorphism, the only Möbius-division categories are the reduced standard division categories of combinatorial inverse monoids.     

Strong Unicity of Restricted p-Centers

Given a continuous seminorm p on a separated locally convex linear topological space X, we study in this paper strong uniqueness of the so-called restricted p-centers of sets. First we explore finite extremal characterizations of strongly unique restricted p-centers of subsets of X from its finite dimensional subspaces. Our main goal here is to investigate strong uniqueness of restricted p-centers of certain sets from the so-called p-RS sets, which are defined as closed convex sets that are obtained by imposing convex side constraints arising from boundedness of coefficients on translates of certain subspaces of X.     

Weak and strong convergence theorems for strict pseudo-contractions in Hilbert spaces

Let C be a closed convex subset of a real Hilbert space H and assume that T is a κ-strict pseudo-contraction on C with a fixed point, for some 0?κ<1. Given an initial guess x₀∈C and given also a real sequence {αn} in (0,1). The Mann's algorithm generates a sequence {xn} by the formula: xn+1=αnxn+(1−αn)Txn, n?0. It is proved that if the control sequence {αn} is chosen so that κ<αn<1 and , then {xn} converges weakly to a fixed point of T. However this convergence is in general not strong. We then modify Mann's algorithm by applying projections onto suitably constructed closed convex sets to get an algorithm which generates a strong convergent sequence. This result extends a recent result of Nakajo and Takahashi [K. Nakajo, W. Takahashi, Strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings and nonexpansive semigroups, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 279 (2003) 372-379] from nonexpansive mappings to strict pseudo-contractions.     

Convergence theorems based on hybrid methods for generalized equilibrium problems and fixed point problems

The purpose of this work is to introduce a hybrid projection method for finding a common element of the set of a generalized equilibrium problem, the set of solutions to a variational inequality and the set of fixed points of a strict pseudo-contraction in a real Hilbert space.     

An iterative scheme for equilibrium problems and fixed point problems of strict pseudo-contraction mappings

In this paper, we propose an iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a strict pseudo-contraction mapping in the setting of real Hilbert spaces. We establish some weak and strong convergence theorems of the sequences generated by our proposed scheme. Our results combine the ideas of Marino and Xu’s result [G. Marino, H.K. Xu, Weak and strong convergence theorems for strict pseudo-contractions in Hilbert spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 329 (2007) 336–346], and Takahashi and Takahashi’s result [S. Takahashi, W. Takahashi, Viscosity approximation methods for equilibrium problems and fixed point problems in Hilbert spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 331 (2007) 506–515]. In particular, necessary and sufficient conditions for strong convergence of our iterative scheme are obtained.
