In this paper, we study various properties of algebraic extension of *-A operator. Specifically, we show that every algebraic extension of *-A operator has SVEP and is isoloid. And if T is an algebraic extension of *-A operator, then Weyl's theorem holds for f(T), where f is an analytic functions on some neighborhood of σ(T) and not constant on each of the components of its domain.  相似文献

Next, let be a polynomial ring where is a perfect field of characteristic , and let be a regular noetherian subring of containing such that . Suppose that is a free -module. Then, applying the above result to a tower of rings, we shall show that a polynomial of minimal degree in is a -basis of over .

For any object L in the category of precrossed modules in Lie algebras PXLie, we construct the object Act(L), which we call the actor of this object. From this construction, we derive the notions of action, center, semidirect product, derivation, commutator, and abelian precrossed module in PXLie. We show that the notion of action is equivalent to the one given in semi-abelian categories, and Act(L) is the split extension classifier for L. In the case of a crossed module in Lie algebras we show how to recover its actor in the category of crossed modules from its actor in the category of precrossed modules.  相似文献

In this article we investigate the transfer of the notions of elementary divisor ring, Hermite ring, Bezout ring, and arithmetical ring to trivial ring extensions of commutative rings by modules. Namely, we prove that the trivial ring extension R: = A ? B defined by extension of integral domains is an elementary divisor ring if and only if A is an elementary divisor ring and B = qf(A); and R is an Hermite ring if and only if R is a Bezout ring if and only if A is a Bezout domain and qf(A) = B. We provide necessary and sufficient conditions for R = A ? E to be an arithmetical ring when E is a nontorsion or a finitely generated A ? module. As an immediate consequences, we show that A ? A is an arithmetical ring if and only if A is a von Neumann regular ring, and A ? Q(A) is an arithmetical ring if and only if A is a semihereditary ring.  相似文献

For an extension E: R ? S of (commutative) rings and the induced extension F: R(X) ? S(X) of Nagata rings, the transfer of the FCP and FIP properties between E and F is studied. Then F has FCP ? E has FCP. The extensions E for which F has FIP are characterized. While E has FIP whenever F has FIP, the converse fails for certain subintegral extensions; it does hold if E is integrally closed, seminormal, or subintegral with R quasi-local having infinite residue field. If F has FIP, conditions are given for the sets of intermediate rings of E and F to be order-isomorphic.  相似文献

Positivity in *-algebras can be defined either algebraically, by quadratic modules, or analytically, by *-representations. By the induction procedure for *-representations, we can lift the analytical notion of positivity from a *-subalgebra to the entire *-algebra. The aim in this article is to define and study the induction procedure for quadratic modules. The main question is when a given quadratic module on the *-algebra is induced from its intersection with the *-subalgebra. This question is very hard even for the smallest quadratic module (i.e. the set of all sums of hermitian squares) and will be answered only in very special cases.  相似文献

For certain classes 𝒞 of R-modules, including singular modules or modules with locally Krull dimensions, it is investigated when every module in 𝒞 with a finitely generated essential submodule is finitely generated. In case 𝒞 = Mod-R, this means E(M)/M is Noetherian for any finitely generated module MR. Rings R with latter property are studied and shown that they form a class 𝒬 properly between the class of pure semisimple rings and the class of certain max rings. Duo rings in 𝒬 are precisely Artinian rings. If R is a quasi continuous ring in 𝒬 then R ? A ⊕ T where A is a semisimple Artinian ring and T ∈ 𝒬 with Z(TT) ≤ess TT.  相似文献
