Broadband supercontinuums (SC) are generated by soliton self-frequency shift (SSFS) of hollow-core photonic crystal fiber (HC-PCF) in our laboratory. With the pump works at 810 nm when the pump power increase from 400 to 600 mW, the Raman Soliton shifts from 2089 to 2215 nm, the bandwidth of SC increases from 2213 to 2320 nm. The ultra-violet part of SC is below 180 nm, and the mid-infrared part of SC exceeds 2500 nm. Moreover, the influence of pump power on SC is also analyzed. 相似文献

Instead of fluid type dark matter (DM), axion-like scalar fields with a periodic self-interaction or some truncations of it are analyzed as a model of galaxy halos. It is probed if such cold Bose–Einstein type condensates could provide a viable soliton type interpretation of the DM ‘bullets’ observed by means of gravitational lensing in merging galaxy clusters. We study solitary waves for two self-interacting potentials in the relativistic Klein–Gordon equation, mainly in lower dimensions, and visualize the approximately shape-invariant collisions of two ‘lump’ type solitons. 相似文献

We consider an inhomogeneous Hirota equation with variable dispersion and nonlinearity. We introduce a novel transformation which maps this equation to a constant coefficient Hirota equation. By employing this transformation we construct the rogue wave solution of the inhomogeneous Hirota equation. Furthermore, we demonstrate that one can control the rogue wave dynamics by suitably choosing the dispersion and the nonlinearity. These results suggest an efficient approach for controlling the basic features of the relevant rogue wave and may have practical implications for the management of the rogue waves in nonlinear optical systems. 相似文献

Hartree–Fock theory predicts a stripe-like ground state for the two-dimensional electron gas in a bilayer quantum Hall system in a quantizing magnetic field at filling factor 4N+1 (with N>0). This stripe state contains quasi-1D linear coherent regions where electrons are delocalized across both wells and which support low-energy collective excitations in the form of phonons and pseudospin waves. We have recently computed the dispersion relation of these low-energy modes in the generalized random phase approximation. In this work, we propose an effective pseudospin model in which the stripe state is modeled as an array of coupled 1D anisotropic X–Y systems. The coupling constants and stiffness of our model are extracted from the density and pseudospin response functions computed in the GRPA. 相似文献
