The boundary conditions represented by polygons in moving particle semi-implicit (MPS) method (Koshizuka and Oka, Nuclear Science and Engineering, 1996 Koshizuka, S., and Y. Oka. 1996. “Moving-Particle Semi-Implicit Method for Fragmentation of Incompressible Fluid.” Nuclear Science and Engineering 123: 421434.[Taylor &; Francis Online], [Web of Science ®] [Google Scholar]) have been widely used in the industry simulations since it can simply simulate complex geometry with high efficiency. However, the inaccurate particle number density near non-planar wall boundaries dramatically affects the accuracy of simulations. In this paper, we propose an initial boundary particle arrangement technique coupled with the wall weight function method (Zhang et al. Transaction of JSCES, 2015 Zhang, T.G., S. Koshizuka, K. Shibata, K. Murotani, and E. Ishii. 2015. “Improved Wall Weight Function With Polygon Boundary in Moving Particle Semi-Implicit Method.” Transaction of JSCES. No. 20150012. [Google Scholar]) to improve the particle number density near slopes and curved surfaces with boundary conditions represented by polygons in three dimensions. Two uniform grids are utilized in the proposed technique. The grid points in the first uniform grid are used to construct boundary particles, and the second uniform grid stores the same information as in the work by Zhang et al. The wall weight functions of the grid points in the second uniform grid are calculated by newly constructed boundary particles. The wall weight functions of the fluid particles are interpolated from the values stored on the grid points in the second uniform grid. Because boundary particles are located on the polygons, complex geometries can be accurately represented. The proposed method can dramatically improve the particle number density and maintain the high efficiency. The performance of the previously proposed wall weight function (Zhang et al.) with the boundary particle arrangement technique is verified in comparison with the wall weight function without boundary particle arrangement by investigating two example geometries. The simulations of a water tank with a wedge and a complex geometry show the general applicability of the boundary particle arrangement technique to complex geometries and demonstrate its improvement of the wall weight function near the slopes and curved surfaces.  相似文献

使用一种时域边界元方法对混凝土水坝进行瞬态热传导分析。在对时间积分进行离散计算时,采用一种拟初始条件法,即在时间步迭代计算的过程中,将之前计算结果对当前时间步的影响都视作当前时间步的初始条件。在所取时间步长较小的情况下,这种处理方法容易导致数值结果不稳定,即每一步的计算误差会累计放大,最终导致计算崩溃。本文提出一种虚拟时刻方法以缓解这类数值不稳定现象,在该方法中,时间步长首先放大至合适尺度,计算某个虚拟时刻(往往在真实计算时刻之后)的温度和流量分布,再通过插值方法换算出真实时刻的温度和流量分布。在虚拟时刻点上的温度和流量计算过程中,边界已知温度或流量由真实时刻的温度或流量进行外插得到。本文简单证明了该方法在温度和流量随时间呈线性变化情况下的正确性,最后给出了两个分析实例,验证了该方法的准确性和稳定性。  相似文献

The main objective of this paper is to apply an Adomian modified decomposition method for solving large amplitude vibration analysis of stepped beams with various general and elastic boundary conditions. Damaged or imperfect supports of beams can be modeled by using elastic boundary conditions composing of translational and rotational springs. For the beams subjected to dynamic severe loading, it is important to include the nonlinear term of axial stretching force developed by the large vibration amplitude in the governing equation for more accurate design. By using the method, the convergence studies for linear and nonlinear vibration analyses of stepped beams are shown for determining an appropriate number of terms in the solutions. The accuracy of the present results is validated numerically by comparing with some available results in the literature. New results of nonlinear frequency ratios of stepped beams with different boundary conditions are presented and discussed in detail. Aspects of step ratio, step location, boundary conditions, vibration amplitudes, etc., which have significant impact on linear and nonlinear frequencies of such beams are taken under investigation.  相似文献

In this paper, we explore some issues related to adopting the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) to solve partial differential equations (PDEs), par-ticularly linear diffusion equations. Through a proposition, we show that extending the ADM from ODEs to PDEs poses some strong requirements on the initial and boundary conditions, which quite often are violated for problems encountered in en-gineering, physics and applied mathematics. We then propose a modified approach, based on combining the ADM with the Fourier series decomposition, to provide solu-tions for those problems when these conditions are not met. In passing, we shall also present an argument that would address a long-term standing“pitfall”of the original ADM and make this powerful approach much more rigorous in its setup. Numeri-cal examples are provided to show that our modified approach can be used to solve any linear diffusion equation (homogeneous or non-homogeneous), with reasonable smoothness of the initial and boundary data.  相似文献

We show that, assisted by the Peierls transition of lattice, as a quasi-one dimensional (Q1D) tight binding system, a Möbius molecular device can behave as a simple topological insulator. With the Peierls phase transition to form a domain wall, the solitonary zero modes exist as the ground state of this electron-phonon hybrid system, which is protected by the Z2 topology of the Möbius strip. The robustness of the ground state prevents these degenerate zero modes from their energy spectrum splitting caused by any perturbation.  相似文献

The scattering of a fermion in the background of a sign potential is considered with a general mixing of vector and scalar Lorentz structures with the scalar coupling stronger than or equal to the vector coupling under the Sturm–Liouville perspective. When the vector coupling and the scalar coupling have different magnitudes, an isolated solution shows that the fermion under a strong potential can be trapped in a highly localized region without manifestation of Klein’s paradox. It is also shown that the lonely bound-state solution disappears asymptotically as one approaches the conditions for the realization of spin and pseudospin symmetries.  相似文献

The High Speed Machining (HSM) spindle is one of the most critical bearing applications, because it requires both high speed and high power in order to obtain high quality and productivity. Therefore, bearing condition monitoring is important. Firstly, this paper presents a real and typical spindle life example. The vibration signals and their evolution are discussed in relation to the bearing failures that have been observed after the spindle disassembly. Cleavage notably occurred on the ceramic balls of the hybrid ball bearing. Damaged balls and their chippings then damaged uniformly the rings raceways on the whole circumference. As a consequence, a noise component increases in vibration signal due to the worsening of the ball-race contact during the rolling process. In a second section, the noise component produced by bearing condition is studied and characterized. The frequency spectrum distribution is briefly discussed in relation to a signal model. It is demonstrated by Pearson’s test that the distribution follows a Gaussian law all along the spindle life. Besides, it evolves with bearing condition. Thus, a new criterion, called SBN (Spindle Bearing Noise), is proposed for the monitoring of the uniformly distributed defect. A specific monitoring device was also developed in order to collect real industrial data during the spindle lifetime. Vibration signals are used in order to evaluate the criterion relevancy by comparison with the current best practices. The analyses through three required conditions for bearing condition monitoring and based on three spindles signals, have shown some good results.  相似文献

Sound attenuation of air due to climatic conditions is often assumed to be constant and/or negligible in the electro acoustic design of voice alarm (VA) systems. However, air attenuation variations can be significant in large underground spaces and particularly as the frequency increases to the mid to high frequencies which are the most relevant to speech intelligibility. This investigation evaluates and quantifies the impact of the variability of the most influential climatic parameters, air temperature and relative humidity, on the performance of VA systems in underground stations. Computer simulations were employed to predict the effect of varying these climatic parameters on key performance metrics. Results demonstrated a significant increase in the values of reverberation time parameters with both temperature and humidity, at frequencies critical for speech intelligibility. Consequently the values of speech intelligibility related metrics decreased with rising temperatures and humidity. Hence, the study shows how ignoring temperature and humidity effects can lead to calculation errors in the design of VA systems. These errors could cause over-specification of the absorption required of surface materials, and the inaccurate prediction of acoustic and speech intelligibility related parameters.  相似文献

考虑到环类锻件内壁状态对于保证工业的生产安全具有重要作用, 而基于红外光谱的测温方法可以大大提高测温精度, 因此研究基于红外光谱的环类锻件内壁状态监测方法具有重要的意义。为了实时掌握环类锻件的内壁状态, 提出一种红外光谱环类锻件内壁状态监测方法。首先利用红外光谱构建了三级FP型LCTF的测温系统, 通过获取锻件表面辐射的两个单一光谱运用红外双色测温原理实现锻件表面温度的测量。相比传统的测温方法大大提高了锻件表面的测温精度。其次在拉普拉斯导热微分方程的基础上, 运用分离变量法建立了环类锻件内壁状态监测模型;结合红外光谱测温系统测量的温度数据和锻件自身参数信息, 实现了环类锻件的内壁状态监测;最后通过仿真实验验证了所提出方法的可行性, 实现了环类锻件的内壁状态监测, 为保证环类锻件的正常运行提供了理论依据。  相似文献

介绍了适用于多种流场数值模拟的无滑动格子Boltzmann平衡分布边界条件,这一边界条件是以Bounce-Back方法为基础并满足质量、动量守恒的准则.数值计算结果表明平衡分布边界条件克服了Bounce-Back方法在边界上所产生的滑动速度误差效应.利用平衡分布边界条件数值模拟了由棱柱形充填粒子构成的微尺度渗流流场中的Darcy-Forchheimer方程,通过与Lee 和Yang的数值结果比较,该预测结果是足够可靠的. 关键词: 平衡分布边界条件 渗流介质 Darcy-Forchheimer阻力  相似文献
