We prove an extension theorem for ultraholomorphic classes defined by so-called Braun–Meise–Taylor weight functions ω and transfer the proofs from the single weight sequence case from V. Thilliez to the weight function setting. We are following a different approach than the results obtained in a recent paper by the authors, more precisely we are working with real methods by applying the ultradifferentiable Whitney-extension theorem. We are treating both the Roumieu and the Beurling case, the latter one is obtained by a reduction from the Roumieu case. 相似文献

AbstractIn this paper, we are interested in classical Müntz spaces and their properties. We first reprove Müntz theorem and obtain the Clarkson–Erdös–Schwartz expansion in the nondense case for some general abstract Müntz spaces without invoking any blow up property, but using classical complex variables tools. The generalized Bernstein basis in the space Πn of polynomials of degree at most n, being an extension of the q-Bernstein basis introduced by Philips [Bernstein polynomials based on the q-integers, Ann. Numer. Math. 4 (1997) 511–518], is given by the formula [S. Lewanowicz, P. Woźny, Generalized Bernstein polynomials, BIT Numer. Math. 44 (2004) 63–78], We give explicitly the dual basis functions for the polynomials , in terms of big q-Jacobi polynomials Pk(x;a,b,ω/q;q), a and b being parameters; the connection coefficients are evaluations of the q-Hahn polynomials. An inverse formula—relating big q-Jacobi, dual generalized Bernstein, and dual q-Hahn polynomials—is also given. Further, an alternative formula is given, representing the dual polynomial (0jn) as a linear combination of min(j,n-j)+1 big q-Jacobi polynomials with shifted parameters and argument. Finally, we give a recurrence relation satisfied by , as well as an identity which may be seen as an analogue of the extended Marsden's identity [R.N. Goldman, Dual polynomial bases, J. Approx. The Matsumoto K0-group is an interesting invariant of flow equivalence for symbolic dynamical systems. Because of its origin as the K-theory of a certain C∗-algebra, which is also a flow invariant, this group comes equipped with a flow invariant order structure. We emphasize this order structure and demonstrate how methods from operator algebra and symbolic dynamics combine to allow a computation of it in certain cases, including Sturmian and primitive substitutional shifts. In the latter case we show by example that the ordered group is a strictly finer invariant than the group itself. 相似文献

Parameter testing algorithms are using constant number of queries to estimate the value of a certain parameter of a very large finite graph. It is well‐known that graph parameters such as the independence ratio or the edit‐distance from 3‐colorability are not testable in bounded degree graphs. We show that 138 odd values of n<10000 for which a Hadamard matrix of order 4n exists have been overlooked in the recent handbook of combinatorial designs. There are four additional odd n=191, 5767, 7081, 8249 in that range for which Hadamard matrices of order 4n exist. There is a unique equivalence class of near‐normal sequences NN(36), and the same is true for NN(38) and NN(40). This means that the Yang conjecture on the existence of near‐normal sequences NN(n) has been verified for all even n⩽40, but it still remains open. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
