Total synthesis of unsaturated imine venom alkaloids of Costa Rican ant by way of Schmidt reaction via allyl/pentadienyl cations

Total synthesis of α,β-, and α,β,γ,δ-unsaturated imine ant venom alkaloids is described. The labile two conjugated imine alkaloids were synthesized by late stage intramolecular Schmidt reaction via allyl and pentadienyl cation intermediates.     

Dynamic Effects in Intramolecular Schmidt Reactions: Entropy,Electrostatic Drag,and Selectivity Prediction

Electrostatic drag in the intramolecular Schmidt reactions of azidopropylcyclohexanones is characterized using density functional theory (DFT) calculations and direct dynamics simulations. Despite resulting from enthalpically favorable interactions, electrostatic drag slows down N₂ loss during formation of bridged lactam products, an effect with implications for controlling product selectivity.     

Green,rapid, and highly efficient syntheses of α,α′-bis[(aryl or allyl)idene]cycloalkanones and 2-[(aryl or allyl)idene]-1-indanones as potentially biologic compounds via solvent-free microwave-assisted Claisen–Schmidt condensation catalyzed by MoCl5

A new, green, and highly efficient protocol for the expeditious preparation of some α,α′-bis[(aryl or allyl)idene]cycloalkanones and 2-[(aryl or allyl)idene]-1-indanones via a simple microwave-assisted Claisen–Schmidt condensation reaction catalyzed by MoCl₅ was successfully developed. Outstanding features of the current methodology include the use of solvent-free conditions, simple operation, use of a very inexpensive and available catalyst, low catalyst loading, short reaction times, high yields of the pure products, no harmful by-products, easy workup, and also the applicability of microwave irradiation as a clean source of energy. Furthermore, a gram-scale reaction was successfully conducted, proving the scalability of this current Claisen–Schmidt condensation reaction.     

Tandem chalcone-sulfonamide hybridization,cyclization and further Claisen–Schmidt condensation: Tuning molecular diversity through reaction time and order and catalyst

We here report the synthesis of novel chalcone-sulfonamide compounds based on the hybridization at 2′ position and nitro substitution at the side chalcone phenyl ring followed by tandem cyclization into quinolinone derivatives and then a further aldol condensation only as a function of the reaction time. Therefore, for the first time, we have controlled the sequential preparation of chalcone-sulfonamide hybrids, quinolinones and then (E)-3-ene-2,3-dihydroquinolinones simply stopping reaction over increasing time periods. Furthermore, a new molecular scaffold based on a chalcone-(bis)sulfonamide hybrid has been gotten through changing the sequence of coupling reactions and catalyst. This study means practical and useful ways of constructing in high yields new biologically active compounds bearing diversified molecular scaffolds.     

大视场反射式施密特光学系统设计与检测

大视场、低成本、高性能天文望远镜是当前研究和开发的热点。基于像差平衡原理,在正入射施密特矫正板基础上推导出斜入射反射式施密特矫正板方程,针对焦距1 700 mm,成像视场角4°,波段为0.4 μm～0.9 μm,F数为4.25的光学系统,求解出施密特矫正板方程,并作为初始结构参数代入Zemax软件进一步优化。设计结果表明,在全视场范围内,该系统在奈奎斯特频率100 lp/mm处的调制传递函数MTF大于0.35,畸变小于2.5%,成像质量达到了衍射极限。优化设计后施密特矫正板与最近球面最大偏差为0.005 mm,采用特制的补偿器结合干涉仪可完成面形高精度检测。该施密特系统的设计为大视场、宽波段天文望远镜的开发提供了参考。     

Total synthesis of (±)-antofine

An efficient preparation of (±)-antofine is described. The main steps involved in this synthesis are the Horner–Wadsworth–Emmons reaction, the intramolecular Schmidt reaction of an azido aldehyde, and the one-pot deprotection of the N-formyl group, followed by Pictet–Spengler cyclization. The asymmetric hydrogenation of the trisubstituted α,β-unsaturated ester is also explored, however only moderate enantio-control (55% ee) is obtained. Finally, (±)-antofine is prepared in six steps from the phenanthryl aldehyde 5 with an overall yield of 35%.     

海绵Phacelliafusca中含氮化合物的分离与结构鉴定

从采自中国南海西沙群岛海域的海绵Phacellia fusca Schmidt中得到4个含氮 化合物。经~1H NMR,~(13)C NMR,HMQC,HMBC,~1H-~1HCOSY,FABMS和EIMS等光谱分析 ，确证其结构分别为：N,N'-二[2-乙氧基-1（Z）-乙烯基]脲（1），2- Bromoaldisin(2),Aldisin(3)Dibromophakellin盐酸盐(4)。其中化合物1为一具有 对称结构的新脲类化合物，命名Phacelliaurea A；化合物4是首次从该海绵中分离 得到的已知胍基生物碱，首次报到了它的~(13)C NMR数据及其归属。
