Two Special Simply Connected Spaces of Nonpositive Curvature

We construct two examples of spaces homeomorphic to R ⁿ (n3) each of which has a closed geodesic and admits no isoperimetric inequality. The first is a complete polyhedral metric space of nonpositive curvature, and the second is an incomplete Riemannian space with nonpositive sectional curvatures.     

A global pinching theorem for surfaces with constant mean curvature in

We prove that if , then is either totally umbilical or an -torus, where is a constant depending only on the mean curvature .

     

Smooth diameter and eigenvalue rigidity in positive Ricci curvature

A recent injectivity radius estimate and previous sphere theorems yield the following smooth diameter sphere theorem for manifolds of positive Ricci curvature: For any given and there exists a positive constant 0$">such that any -dimensional complete Riemannian manifold with Ricci curvature , sectional curvature and diameter is Lipschitz close and diffeomorphic to the standard unit -sphere. A similar statement holds when the diameter is replaced by the first eigenvalue of the Laplacian.

     

一种抑制合成孔径雷达图像相干斑的各向异性扩散滤波方法

本文提出了一种抑制合成孔径雷达图像乘性相干斑噪声的各向异性扩散滤波新方法.该方法将受自适应耦合函数控制的平均曲率运动嵌入到传统相干斑抑制的各向异性扩散方程中,形成了一种可有效抑制边缘区域相干斑与同质区块效应现象的各向异性扩散新方程,同时在新建的扩散方程中,引入了由改进Frost滤波与局部方向比率联合构建的一种带方向约束的新扩散函数,进一步削弱了块效应现象且明显改善了抑斑图像的边缘抖动扭曲问题.实验结果表明该方法在有效保护图像边缘的同时,能充分平滑同质区与边缘区域的相干斑,明显削弱块效应现象,有效改善抑斑图像边缘抖动扭曲问题,而抑斑图像无论视觉效果还是参数指标均比多种传统抑斑方法更具优势.     

基于Demons算法改进的图像去噪模型研究

在Demons算法的基础上, 将扩散过程看作图像配准, 建立一种新的基于图像配准的Demons 去噪模型. 实验表明, 该模型去噪效果优于经典的Perona-Malik模型, 排除了模型的病态性. 考虑到新模型在图像去噪过程中仅靠梯度信息表示图像的局部特征还不完善, 故将水平集曲率作为控制图像结构的驱动力因素引入到此模型中, 提出了一种新的梯度和曲率双重驱动力的图像去噪模型. 分析和仿真结果表明, 两种新模型都可有效抑制噪声, 清晰度也有明显的提高, 其中双重驱动力的图像去噪模型去噪效果更具优越性.     

Curvature Estimates for Stable Minimal Hypersurfaces in R4 and R5

We obtain curvature estimates for certain stable minimalhypersurfaces in R ⁴ and R ⁵without using volume bounds. It follows that if M is acomplete stable minimal hypersurface in R ⁴ orR ⁵, then M is a hyperplane whenM intersects each extrinsic ball in, at most,N-components.     

A Note on Shiffman's Theorems

Shiffman proved his famous first theorem, that if A R³ is a compact minimal annulus bounded by two convex Jordan curves in parallel (say horizontal) planes, then A is foliated by strictly convex horizontal Jordan curves. In this article we use Perron's method to construct minimal annuli which have a planar end and are bounded by two convex Jordan curves in horizontal planes, but the horizontal level sets of the surfaces are not all convex Jordan curves or straight lines. These surfaces show that unlike his second and third theorems, Shiffman's first theorem is not generalizable without further qualification.

Letter: Active Gravitational Mass and the Invariant Characterization of Reissner–Nordström Spacetime

We analyse the concept of active gravitational mass for Reissner-Nordström spacetime in terms of scalar polynomial invariants and the Karlhede classification. We show that while the Kretschmann scalar does not produce the expected expression for the active gravitational mass, both scalar polynomial invariants formed from the Weyl tensor, and the Cartan scalars, do.     

沿Z型光传输管道轴向吹气对激光传输的影响

针对在Z型管道中传输的高能量密度激光束受到的气体热效应问题,采用光波标量衍射方程计算光传输、N-S方程计算管道内流场,仿真计算了以不同的速度沿管道轴向吹入对激光能量无吸收的气体时,由于气流扰动对出射光束远场光斑质量的影响。结果表明,在采用纵向吹气减小气体热效应对光束传输的影响时,应尽可能采用大气量、低流速的方案,既有利于排空管道中的杂质气体,减小气体热效应,又有利于减小管道中流场密度分布的不均匀性,从而保证出射光束的质量。
