Finite Groups Acting on Homology 3-Spheres: On a Result of M. Reni

 We give a list including all finite groups G which admit smooth orientation preserving actions on homology 3-spheres (arbitrary actions, i.e. possibly with fixed points; if the action is free then the group G has periodic cohomology and the classification of such groups is well known). The main work in this direction is due to M. Reni. In the present paper, we complete and extend his results for the case of nonsolvable groups G. Researches of DC—Problem Under the Model S in which the Numbers of Defective Coins are not Fixed

In this paper,we research general Defective Cion Problem under the model S,i.e,the number d of Defective cions is not fixed. For d=O,1,or 2. we get some good results.     

The quantum de Rham complexes associated with SL h (2)

Quantum de Rham complexes on the quantum plane and the quantum group itself are constructed for the nonstandard deformation of Fun(SL(2)). It is shown that in contrast to the standardq-deformation of SL(2), the above complexes are unique for SL _h (2). Also, as a byproduct, a new deformation of the two-dimensional Heisenberg algebra is obtained which can be used to construct models ofh-deformed quantum mechanics.

对7种类立方烷型Fe_4S_4簇合物进行了XPS分析,得到了中心离子Fe的价态,给出了系列Fe_4S_4中骨架硫的结合能,由峰合成结果给出各种S、N的比例与按结构式计算的结果相同。     

关于极大$S^2NS$阵的一个注记

一个实方阵A称为是S2NS阵,若所有与A有相同符号模式的矩阵均可逆,且它们的逆矩阵的符号模式都相同．若A是S2NS阵且A中任意一个零元换为任意非零元后所得的矩阵都不是S2NS阵,则称A是极大S2NS阵．设所有n阶极大S2NS阵的非零元个数所成之集合为S(n),Z4(n)={1/2n(n-1) 4,…,1/2n(n 1)-1},除了2n 1到3n一4间的一段和Z4(n)外,S(n)得到了完全确定．本文将用图论方法证明Z4(n)∩S(n)=(?)．     

Synthesis, morphology and random laser action of ZnO nanostructures

Three-dimensional (3-D) ZnO random-wall nanostructures and one-dimensional (1-D) ZnO nanorods were prepared on silicon substrates by a simple solid-vapour phase thermal sublimation technique. Optical pumped random lasing has been observed in the ZnO random-wall arrays with a threshold intensity of 0.38 MW/cm² in the emission wavelength from 380 to 395 nm. The optical gain was attributed to the closed-loop scattering and light amplification of the ZnO random-wall. The experimental result suggests that the morphology of nanostructure is the key factor to effect random lasing.     

Separable free quadratic algebras over quadratic integers

The aim of the paper is to determine all free separable quadratic algebras over the rings of integers of quadratic fields in terms of the properties of the fundamental unit in the real case. The paper corrects some earlier published results on the subject.     

Limits of tangents and minimality of complex links

We show that the complex link of a large class of space germs (X,x₀) is characterized by its “simplicity”, among the Milnor fibres of functions with isolated singularity on X. This amounts to the minimality of the Milnor number, whenever this number is defined. Such a phenomenon has been first pointed out in case (X,x₀) is an isolated hypersurface singularity, by Teissier (Cycles évanescents, sections planes et conditions de Whitney, in: Singularités à Cargèse 1972, Asterisque, Nos. 7 et 8, Soc. Math. France, Paris, 1973, pp. 285-362).     

An isochore versal deformation theorem

We introduce a cohomological approach to isochore deformation problems. We use this formulation in order to prove an isochore versal deformation theorem for holomorphic function germs.
