Strong cosmic censorshiP for a scalar field in a logarithmic-de Sitter black hole

It has been shown that the quasinormal modes of perturebated fields can be used to investigate the validity of strong cosmic censorship(SCC).Relevant issues for Reissner-Nordstrom-de Sitter(RN-dS)black holes and Born-Infeld-de Sitter black holes have been discussed.In this paper,we investigate SCC in an asymptotic RN-dS black hole with logarithmic nonlinear electromagnetic field perturbed by massless scalar fields.It has been argued that SCC can be violated in a near-extremal RN-dS black hole.However,we find that the NLED effect can rescue SCC for a near-extremal logarithmic-de Sitter black hole.Compared with Born-Infeld model,we find that the NLED effect has similar behavior.

目的 :本文考虑 Berkson-Gage法中校正处于危险数的合理性 .方法 :按生存率估计值对终检样本进行分解复得生存率估计值 .后者理应等于前者 .结果 :就 Berkson-Gage法而论 ,后者大于等于前者 ,从而形成悖论 .取消该校正 ,后者便等于前者 ,该悖论即解 .结论 :因此 ,该校正的取舍值得商榷     

Gravitational collapse in higher-dimensional charged-Vaidya space-time

We analyze here the gravitational collapse of higher-dimensional charged-Vaidya spacetime. We show that singularities arising in a charged null fluid in higher dimension are always naked violating at least strong cosmic censorship hypothesis (CCH), though not necessarily weak CCH. We show that earlier conclusions on the occurrence of naked singularities in four-dimensional case can be extended essentially in the same manner in 5D case also     

Gravitational Collapse in Higher Dimensional Space-Time

Spherically symmetric inhomogeneous dust collapse has been studied in higher dimensional space-time and the appearance of a naked singularity has been analyzed both for the non-marginal and the marginally bound cases. It has been shown that a naked singularity is possible for any arbitrary dimension in the non-marginally bound case. For the marginally bound case we have examined the radial null geodesics from the singularity and found that a naked singularity is possible up to five dimensions.     

Random weighting estimation for survival function under right censorship

The random weighting method is an emerging computing method in statistics. In this paper, we propose a novel estimation of the survival function for right censored data based on the random weighting method. Under some regularity conditions, we prove the strong consistency of this estimation.
