A regularity criterion for the density‐dependent magnetohydrodynamic equations

In this paper, regularity criterion for the 3‐D density‐dependent magnetohydrodynamic equation is considered. It is proved that the solution keeps smoothness only under an integrable condition on the velocity field in multiplier spaces. Hence, it turns out that the velocity field plays a dominant role in the regularity criteria of the weak solutions to this nonlinear coupling problem even with density. On Burenkov's extension operator preserving Sobolev–Morrey spaces on Lipschitz domains

We prove that Burenkov's extension operator preserves Sobolev spaces built on general Morrey spaces, including classical Morrey spaces. The analysis concerns bounded and unbounded open sets with Lipschitz boundaries in the n‐dimensional Euclidean space.     

Multilinear Commutators of θ-Type Calderón-Zygmund Operators on Non-Homogeneous Metric Measure Spaces

In this paper, the boundedness in Lebesgue spaces of commutators and multilinear commutators generated by θ-type Calderón-Zygmund operators with RB MO(μ) functions on non-homogeneous metric measure spaces is obtained.     

On the computation of the optimal cost function for discrete time Markov models with partial observations

We consider several applications of two state, finite action, infinite horizon, discrete-time Markov decision processes with partial observations, for two special cases of observation quality, and show that in each of these cases the optimal cost function is piecewise linear. This in turn allows us to obtain either explicit formulas or simplified algorithms to compute the optimal cost function and the associated optimal control policy. Schatten properties,nuclearity and minimality of phase shift invariant spaces

We extend Feichtinger's minimality property on the smallest non-trivial time-frequency shift invariant Banach space, to the quasi-Banach case. Analogous properties are deduced for certain matrix spaces.We use these results to prove that the pseudo-differential operator $\mathrm{Op}(a)$ is a Schatten-q operator from $M^{\infty }$ to $M^p$ and r-nuclear operator from $M^{\infty }$ to $M^r$ when $a\in M^r$ for suitable p, q and r in $(0,\infty ]$.     

Periodic Solutions of Third-order Differential Equations with Finite Delay in Vector-valued Functional Spaces

In this paper, we study the well-posedness of the third-order differential equation with finite delay(P_3): αu'"(t) + u"(t) = Au(t) + Bu'(t) + Fut +f(t)(t ∈ T := [0,2π]) with periodic boundary conditions u(0) = u(2π), u'(0) = u"(2π),u"(0)=u"(2π) in periodic Lebesgue-Bochner spaces Lp(T;X) and periodic Besov spaces B_(p,q)~s(T;X), where A and B are closed linear operators on a Banach space X satisfying D(A) ∩ D(B) ≠ {0}, α≠ 0 is a fixed constant and F is a bounded linear operator from Lp([-2π, 0]; X)(resp. Bp,qs([-2π, 0]; X)) into X, ut is given by ut(s) = u(t + s) when s ∈ [-2π,0]. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the Lp-well-posedness(resp. B_(p,q)~s-well-posedness)of(P_3) are given in the above two function spaces. We also give concrete examples that our abstract results may be applied.     

Singular Hamiltonian elliptic systems with critical exponential growth in dimension two

We will focus on the existence of nontrivial solutions to the following Hamiltonian elliptic system where are numbers belonging to the interval [0, 2), V is a continuous potential bounded below on by a positive constant and the functions f and g possess exponential growth range established by Trudinger–Moser inequalities in Lorentz–Sobolev spaces. The proof involves linking theorem and a finite‐dimensional approximation.     

Jordan operator algebras revisited

Jordan operator algebras are norm‐closed spaces of operators on a Hilbert space with for all . In two recent papers by the authors and Neal, a theory for these spaces was developed. It was shown there that much of the theory of associative operator algebras, in particular, surprisingly much of the associative theory from several recent papers of the first author and coauthors, generalizes to Jordan operator algebras. In the present paper we complete this task, giving several results which generalize the associative case in these papers, relating to unitizations, real positivity, hereditary subalgebras, and a couple of other topics. We also solve one of the three open problems stated at the end of our earlier joint paper on Jordan operator algebras.
