Maximal Element Theorems with Applications to Generalized Games and Systems of Generalized Vector Quasi-Equilibrium Problems in <Emphasis Type="Italic">G</Emphasis>-Convex Spaces

By applying the maximal element theorems on product of G-convex spaces due to the first author, some equilibrium existence theorems for generalized games with fuzzy constraint correspondences are proved in G-convex spaces. As applications, some existence theorems of solutions for the system of generalized vector quasiequilibrium problem are established in noncompact product of G-convex spaces. Total curvatures of geodesic spheres associated to quadratic curvature invariants

Total scalar curvatures of geodesic spheres obtained by integrating the second-order scalar invariants of the curvature tensor are investigated. The first terms in their power-series expansions are derived and these results are used to characterize the two-point homogeneous spaces among Riemannian manifolds with adapted holonomy. Weak axioms of choice for metric spaces

In the framework of ZF, i.e., Zermelo-Fraenkel set theory without the axiom of choice AC, we show that if the family of all non-empty, closed subsets of a metric space has a choice function, then so does the family of all non-empty, open subsets of . In addition, we establish that the converse is not provable in ZF.

We also show that the statement ``every subspace of the real line with the standard topology has a choice function for its family of all closed, non-empty subsets" is equivalent to the weak choice form ``every continuum sized family of non-empty subsets of reals has a choice function".

     

Embedding of Hyperbolic Spaces in the Product of Trees

We show that for each n ≥ 2 there is a quasi-isometric embedding of the hyperbolic space Hⁿ in the product Tⁿ=T × ··· × T of n copies of a (simplicial) metric tree T. Regular Ordering and Existence of Minimum Points in Uniform Spaces and Topological Groups

It is defined the locally order convexity of an ordered uniform space and an ordered topological group and is investigated its relation to the existence of minimum points of denumerable, complete lower bounded sets.     

Reflexivity of Inductive Limits

An inductive locally convex limit of reflexive topological spaces is reflexive iff it is almost regular.     

A note on nice operators

In this note, we characterize nice operators in a class of Banach spaces, which includes spaces and L₁(μ), as those operators that preserve extreme points.
