The apparent molal volumes (φ v ) of NaCl, NaNO3, NH4Cl, CuCl2, CuSO4, CoSO4 and MgSO4 in water and in water-SDS (Sodium dodecyl sulphate) solutions were determined from density measurements at 308.15, 313.15 and 323.15 K respectively. The limiting apparent molal volume at infinite dilution φ o v which is practically equal to the partial molal volume V o 2) of these electrolytes were found to be higher in water-SDS solution systems than those in water solutions. Viscosity coefficients (A and B) for these systems were also determined by Jones-Dole equation. All these electrolytes, except NH4Cl exhibit structure making behaviour in water and in water-SDS solutions. Ammonium chloride showed structure breaking properties in water and in 0.01 molar water-SDS solutions. In 0.1 molar SDS solution, it showed structure making behaviour at the temperature range studied. The properties of these electrolytes in water and in water-SDS solution systems have been discussed in terms of the charge, size and hydrogen bonding effect. 相似文献

BackgroundGene expression heterogeneity contributes to development as well as disease progression. Due to technological limitations, most studies to date have focused on differences in mean expression across experimental conditions, rather than differences in gene expression variance. The advent of single cell RNA sequencing has now made it feasible to study gene expression heterogeneity and to characterise genes based on their coefficient of variation.MethodsWe collected single cell gene expression profiles for 32 human and 39 mouse embryonic stem cells and studied correlation between diverse characteristics such as network connectivity and coefficient of variation (CV) across single cells. We further systematically characterised properties unique to High CV genes.ResultsHighly expressed genes tended to have a low CV and were enriched for cell cycle genes. In contrast, High CV genes were co-expressed with other High CV genes, were enriched for bivalent (H3K4me3 and H3K27me3) marked promoters and showed enrichment for response to DNA damage and DNA repair.ConclusionsTaken together, this analysis demonstrates the divergent characteristics of genes based on their CV. High CV genes tend to form co-expression clusters and they explain bivalency at least in part. 相似文献

There is a growing attention to the bio and renewable energies due to fast depletion of fossil fuels as well as the global warming problem. Here, we developed a modeling and simulation method by means of artificial intelligence (AI) for prediction of the bioenergy production from vegetable bean oil. AI methods are well known for prediction of complex and nonlinear process. Three distinct Adaptive Boosted models including Huber regression, LASSO, and Support Vector Regression (SVR) as well as artificial neural network (ANN) were applied in this study to predict actual yield of Fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) production. All boosted utilizing the Adaptive boosting algorithm. The important influencing parameters on the biodiesel production such as the catalyst loading (CAO/Ag, wt%) and methanol to oil (Soybean oil) molar ratio were selected as the input variables of models while the yield of FAME production was selected as output. Model hyper-parameters were tuned to maintain generality while improving prediction accuracy. The models were evaluated using three distinct metrics Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), and R2. Error rates of 8.16780E-01, 4.43895E-01, 2.06692E + 00, and 3.92713 E-01 were obtained with the MAE metric for boosted Huber, SVR, LASSO and ANN models. On the other hand, the RMSE error of these models were about 1.092E-02, 1.015E-02, 2.669E-02, and 1.01174E-02, respectively. Finally, the R-square score were calculated for boosted Huber, boosted SVR, and boosted LASSO as 0.976, 0.990, 0.872, and 0.99702, respectively. Therefore, it can be concluded that although the boosted SVR and ANN models were better models for prediction of process efficiency in terms of error, but all algorithms had high accuracy. The optimum yield of 83.77% and 81.60% for biodiesel production were observed at optimum operating values from boosted SVR and ANN models, respectively. 相似文献

Information content of data and variables and types of weighting in least-squares regression methods
Algorithms are given for evaluating the relative amount of useful information related to a particular parameter which is carried by individual data points and intervals of the variables. The algorithms provide an efficient means of using the information contained in a set of data. Applications to the optimization of weighting in regression methods are described. By means of Jacobi?s triple product identity and the t -coefficient method, we establish a general series expansion formula with five free parameters for the product of arbitrary two Jacobi theta functions. It embodies the triple, quintuple, sextuple and septuple theta function product identities and the generalized Schröter formula. As further applications, we also set up a series expansion formula for the product of three theta functions. It not only generalizes Ewell?s and Chen–Chen–Huang?s octuple product identities, but also contains three cubic theta function identities due to Farkas–Kra and Ramanujan respectively and the Macdonald identity for the root system A2 as special cases.
