Cutting process of composite materials: An experimental study   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
This paper focuses on experimental research of milling process of the epoxide-polymer matrix composite reinforced carbon fibers (EPMC—carbon composite). An influence of two control parameters, namely feed and rotational speed, on cutting forces is investigated. The experiment is conducted on a CNC machine with feed rate ranging from 200 to 720 mm/min and rotational speed from 2000 to 8000 rpm. The experimental time series are analysed by means of the delay coordinates method in order to find stable cutting regions and to recognize the kind of behaviour. Using this information, a new model for the cutting forces is proposed that can be used to build a new regenerative vibration model for EPMC milling.  相似文献

The wheel-rail adhesion control for regenerative braking systems of high speed electric multiple unit trains is crucial to maintaining the stability,improving the adhesion utilization,and achieving deep energy recovery.There remain technical challenges mainly because of the nonlinear,uncertain,and varying features of wheel-rail contact conditions.This research analyzes the torque transmitting behavior during regenerative braking,and proposes a novel methodology to detect the wheel-rail adhesion stability.Then,applications to the wheel slip prevention during braking are investigated,and the optimal slip ratio control scheme is proposed,which is based on a novel optimal reference generation of the slip ratio and a robust sliding mode control.The proposed methodology achieves the optimal braking performancewithoutthewheel-railcontactinformation.Numerical simulation results for uncertain slippery rails verify the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.  相似文献

Nanomedicine is a relatively new field of science and technology. It looks sometimes ill defined and interpretations of that term may vary, especially between Europe and the United States.By interacting with biological molecules, therefore at nanoscale, nanotechnology opens up a vast field of research and application. Interactions between artificial molecular assemblies or nanodevices and biomolecules can be understood both in the extracellular medium and inside the human cells. Operating at nanoscale allows to exploit physical properties different from those observed at microscale such as the volume/surface ratio.The investigated diagnostic applications can be considered for in vitro as well as for in vivo diagnosis. In vitro, the synthesised particles and manipulation or detection devices allow for the recognition, capture, and concentration of biomolecules. In vivo, the synthetic molecular assemblies are mainly designed as a contrast agent for imaging.A second area exhibiting a strong development is “nanodrugs” where nanoparticles are designed for targeted drug delivery. The use of such carriers improves the drug biodistribution, targeting active molecules to diseased tissues while protecting healthy tissue.A third area of application is regenerative medicine where nanotechnology allows developing biocompatible materials which support growth of cells used in cell therapy.The application of nanotechnology to medicine raises new issues because of new uses they allow, for instance: Is the power of these new diagnostics manageable by the medical profession? What means treating a patient without any clinical signs? Nanomedicine can contribute to the development of a personalised medicine both for diagnosis and therapy.There exists in many countries existing regulatory frameworks addressing the basic rules of safety and effectiveness of nanotechnology based medicine, whether molecular assemblies or medical devices. However, there is a need to clarify or to modify these regulations which mobilise many experts.France is a country where the medical development of nanotechnology is significant, like Germany, the United Kingdom or Spain, as regards the European Union. There is an active scientific community and industrial partners of all sizes, even if the technology transfer to industry is not as effective as in North America.  相似文献

Stability of a two degrees of freedom model of the turning process is considered. An accurate modeling of the surface regeneration shows that the regenerative delay, determined by the combination of the workpiece rotation and the tool vibrations, is in fact state-dependent. For that reason, the mathematical model considered in this paper is a delay-differential equation with state-dependent time delay. In order to study linearized stability of stationary cutting processes, an associated linear system, corresponding to the state-dependent delay equation, is derived. Stability analysis of this linear system is performed analytically. A comparison between the state-dependent delay model and the previously used constant or time-periodic delay models shows that the incorporation of the state-dependent delay into the model slightly affects the linear stability properties of the system in certain parameter domains.  相似文献

This paper studies the vacation policies of an M/G/1 queueing system with server breakdowns, startup and closedown times, in which the length of the vacation period is controlled either by the number of arrivals during the vacation period, or by a timer. After all the customers are served in the queue exhaustively, the server is shutdown (deactivates) by a closedown time. At the end of the shutdown time, the server immediately takes a vacation and operates two different policies: (i) The server reactivates as soon as the number of arrivals in the queue reaches to a predetermined threshold N or the waiting time of the leading customer reaches T units; and (ii) The server reactivates as soon as the number of arrivals in the queue reaches to a predetermined threshold N or T time units have elapsed since the end of the closedown time. If the timer expires or the number of arrivals exceeds the threshold N, then the server reactivates and requires a startup time before providing the service until the system is empty. If some customers arrive during this closedown time, the service is immediately started without leaving for a vacation and without a startup time.
