Let be a cuspidal automorphic representation of GL3(), unramified at pand of cohomological type at infinity. We construct p-adic L-functions, which interpolate the critical values of L(,s) and which satisfy a logarithmic growth condition. We obtain these functions as p-adic Mellin transforms of certain distributions on p*having values in some fixed number field and which are of moderate growth. Let G be a reductive algebraic group defined over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero and let P be a parabolic subgroup of G. We consider the category of homogeneous vector bundles over the flag variety G/P. This category is equivalent to a category of representations of a certain infinite quiver with relations by a generalisation of a result in [BK]. Discussed are some geometric aspects of the phase space formalism in quantum mechanics in the sense of Weyl, Wigner, Moyal, and Ville. We analyze the relationship between this formalism and geometry of the Galilei group, classical momentum mapping, theory of unitary projective representations of groups, and theory of groups algebras. Later on, we present some generalization to quantum mechanics on locally compact Abelian groups. It is based on Pontryagin duality. Distances between possible worlds play an important role in logic-based knowledge representation (especially in belief change, reasoning about action, belief merging and similarity-based reasoning). We show here how they can be used for representing in a compact and intuitive way the preference profile of an agent, following the principle that given a goal G, then the closer a world w to a model of G, the better w. We give an integrated logical framework for preference representation which handles weighted goals and distances to goals in a uniform way. Then we argue that the widely used Hamming distance (which merely counts the number of propositional symbols assigned a different value by two worlds) is generally too rudimentary and too syntax-sensitive to be suitable in real applications; therefore, we propose a new family of distances, based on Choquet integrals, in which the Hamming distance has a position very similar to that of the arithmetic mean in the class of Choquet integrals. 相似文献

In this work, an attempt is made to evaluate the errors that have to do with the interpretation and construction of graphic representations. Although the students are studying in the second year of technical high school (secondary education), i.e. in schools with an emphasis in technical subjects (post junior secondary), it is observed that they find difficult to handle the graphic representations. This is an attempt to overcome the difficulties that exist by putting the students to work on electrical machines. They read, construct or verify the graphic representations of the electrical machines using electrical instruments with which they carry out measurements and take values. It is evaluated after the end of each activity and also after a suitable interval of time that there is an improvement in the students’ abilities (interpretation and construction) in graphic representations. 相似文献

The associative, commutative and distributive laws are taught as axioms. Proceeding in a necessarily cautious fashion, this article shows that the commutative law (as representative) cannot be demonstrated over negative integers. Demonstration is only possible at the cost of assuming ‘negative x negative = positive’ as ‘true without proof before proceeding. It is noted that there is then no point in proving ’negative x negative = positive’ by the use of the associative, commutative and distributive laws after it has already been so assumed true without proof to establish those very laws. Nevertheless, the circle of proof can be broken, and a suitable demonstration of the commutative law is given. However, this first of all requires a new circular theory of number.
