The paper analyzes the exact solutions to mixed plane problems of linearized solid mechanics in cases of statics, dynamics, stability, and fracture. The exact solutions have a universal form for compressible and incompressible, elastic and plastic bodies and account for stresses and displacements expressed in terms of analytical functions of complex variables. To obtain these solutions, the use is made of complex variable theory, in particular, the Riemann–Hilbert methods and Keldysh–Sedov formula. When the initial (residual) stresses tend to zero, the exact solutions go over into the corresponding exact solutions of classical linear solid mechanics, which are based on the complex representations due to Muskhelishvili, Lekhnitskii, and Galin  相似文献

The problem of a spherical shock front generated in a point explosion and traveling in a homogeneous medium is analytically studied with account for counterpressure on the entire infinite interval of its existence. For this purpose, asymptotic representations of the excess pressure in the shock wave near and far away from the energy release point are matched. It is possible analytically to continue the four-term expansion for the far zone involving unknown constants, so that it rigorously coincides with the four-term power expansion of the solution for the singular point, that is, the blast center. The problem of determination of the unknown constants is mathematically closed by the derived entropy loss integral which expresses the global energy conservation law. The analytical dependence of the excess pressure in the shock wave on distance thus obtained is in good agreement with the results of numerical calculations.  相似文献

Given a maximal rigid object T of the cluster tube, we determine the objects finitely presented by T. We then use the method of Keller and Reiten to show that the endomorphism algebra of T is Gorenstein and of finite representation type, as first shown by Vatne. This algebra turns out to be the Jacobian algebra of a certain quiver with potential, when the characteristic of the base field is not 3. We study how this quiver with potential changes when T is mutated. We also provide a derived equivalence classification for the endomorphism algebras of maximal rigid objects.  相似文献

Second virial coefficients for the density dependence of a number of electric properties are calculated for neon gas. Employing an accurate CCSD(T) potential for the Ne2 van der Waals dimer and interaction-induced electric dipole polarizabilities and hyperpolarizabilities obtained from CCSD response theory, we evaluated the dielectric, refractivity, Kerr and ESHG second virial coefficients using both a semiclassical and a quantum statistical approach. The results cover a wide range of temperatures and are expected to be more reliable than the available experimental and empirical data. Quantum effects are found to be important only for temperatures below 100 K. The frequency-dependence of the refractivity virial coefficient is found to be small, but not negligible. For frequencies in the visible region it accounts for a few percent of the final results. For the ESHG virial coefficient of neon, frequency dependence is found to be very important, accounting for 20–25% of the second virial coefficient at the typical frequencies employed in experiments.  相似文献

Distances between possible worlds play an important role in logic-based knowledge representation (especially in belief change, reasoning about action, belief merging and similarity-based reasoning). We show here how they can be used for representing in a compact and intuitive way the preference profile of an agent, following the principle that given a goal G, then the closer a world w to a model of G, the better w. We give an integrated logical framework for preference representation which handles weighted goals and distances to goals in a uniform way. Then we argue that the widely used Hamming distance (which merely counts the number of propositional symbols assigned a different value by two worlds) is generally too rudimentary and too syntax-sensitive to be suitable in real applications; therefore, we propose a new family of distances, based on Choquet integrals, in which the Hamming distance has a position very similar to that of the arithmetic mean in the class of Choquet integrals.  相似文献

Let G be a reductive algebraic group defined over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero and let P be a parabolic subgroup of G. We consider the category of homogeneous vector bundles over the flag variety G/P. This category is equivalent to a category of representations of a certain infinite quiver with relations by a generalisation of a result in [BK]. We prove that both categories are Koszul precisely when the unipotent radical Pu of P is abelian.  相似文献
