We study stability properties of a proximal point algorithm for solving the inclusion 0∈T(x) when T is a set-valued mapping that is not necessarily monotone. More precisely we show that the convergence of our algorithm is uniform, in the sense that it is stable under small perturbations whenever the set-valued mapping T is metrically regular at a given solution. We present also an inexact proximal point method for strongly metrically subregular mappings and show that it is super-linearly convergent to a solution to the inclusion 0∈T(x).  相似文献

We give implicit multifunction results generalizing to multifunctions the Robinson’s implicit function theorem (Robinson, Math Oper Res 16(2):292–309, 1991). To this end, we use parametric error bounds estimates for a suitable function refining the one given in Azé and Corvellec (ESAIM Control Optim Calc Var 10:409–425, 2004). Sharp approximations of the implicit multifunctions are given extending the results of Nachi and Penot (Control Cybernet 35:871–901, 2005). Mém. 21 (1970)] proved that Khintchine's theorem on homogeneous Diophantine approximation has an analogue in the field of formal Laurent series. Kristensen [S. Kristensen, On the well-approximable matrices over a field of formal series, Math. Proc. Cambridge Philos. Soc. 135 (2003) 255–268] extended this metric theorem to systems of linear forms and gave the exact Hausdorff dimension of the corresponding exceptional sets. In this paper, we study the inhomogeneous Diophantine approximation over a field of formal Laurent series, the analogue Khintchine's theorem and Jarnik–Besicovitch theorem are proved.  相似文献

We prove strong convergence theorems by the hybrid method given by Takahashi, Takeuchi, and Kubota for a family of relatively nonexpansive mappings under weaker conditions. The method of the proof is different from the original one and it shows that the type of projection used in the iterative method is independent of the properties of the mappings. We also deal with the problem of finding a zero of a maximal monotone operator and obtain a strong convergence theorem using this method.  相似文献

We study Lipschitz mappings defined on an Hn-rectifiable metric space with values in an arbitrary metric space. We find necessary and sufficient conditions on the image and the preimage of a mapping for the validity of the coarea formula. As a consequence, we prove the coarea formula for some classes of mappings with Hk-σ-finite image. We also obtain a metric analog of the Implicit Function Theorem. All these results are extended to large classes of mappings with values in a metric space, including Sobolev mappings and BV-mappings.  相似文献

In uniform spaces, inspired by ideas of Banach, Tarafdar and Yuan, we introduce the concepts of generalized pseudodistances and generalized gauge maps, for set-valued dynamic systems we define various nonlinear asymptotic contractions and contractions with respect to these pseudodistances and gauges, provide conditions on the iterates of these set-valued dynamic systems and present a method which is useful for establishing conditions guaranteeing the existence and uniqueness of endpoints (stationary points) of these set-valued dynamic systems and conditions that each generalized sequence of iterations (in particular, each dynamic process) converges and the limit of a generalized sequence of iterations is an endpoint. The definitions, the results and the method are new for set-valued dynamic systems in uniform, locally convex and metric spaces and even for single-valued maps. The paper includes a number of various examples which show a fundamental difference between our results and those existing in the literature.  相似文献
