论大学物理实验体系建设与教学改革

传统的物理实验是按普通物理、电子线路和近代物理等内容进行划分，这种体系突出了学科的系统性，但忽视了学科之间的兼容互补性，各学科相互独立，限制了学生跨学科思维能力和创新能力的培养，建立现代物理实验教学新体系是大学物理实验教学改革的必然趋势．新的物理实验体系应依照训练层次，划分为引导性实验、基本实验、综合性实验、设计性实验、研究性实验．并需要注重时代性和先进性，改革和更新大学物理实验教学内容，改革实验教学与管理模式，形成新的运行机制，从而达到学生素质和能力的提高．     

Expected utility approximation and portfolio optimisation

Classical portfolio selection problems that optimise expected utility can usually not be solved in closed form. It is natural to approximate the utility function, and we investigate the accuracy of this approximation when using Taylor polynomials. In the important case of a Merton market and power utility we show analytically that increasing the order of the polynomial does not necessarily improve the approximation of the expected utility. The proofs use methods from the theory of parabolic second-order partial differential equations. All results are illustrated by numerical examples.

FRACTAL VISCOUS FINGERING AND ITS SCALING STRUCTURE IN RANDOM SIERPINSKI CARPET

Viscous fingering (VF) in random Sierpinski carpet is investigated by means of successive over-relaxation technique and under the assumption that bond radii are of Rayleigh distribution. In the random Sierpinski network, the VF pattern of porous media in the limit M→∞ (M is the viscosity ratio and equals to η₂/η₁ where η₁ and η₂ are the viscosities of the injected and displaced fluids, respectively) is found to be similar to the diffusion-limited aggregation (DLA) pattern. The interior of the cluster of the displacing fluid is compact on long length scales when M=1, and the pores in the interior of the cluster have been completely swept by the displacing fluid. For finite values of M such as M≥10, the pores in the interior of the cluster have been only partly swept by the displacing fluid on short length scales. But for values of M in 1f(α) sites have velocites scaling as L^-α; and the scaling function f(α) is measured and its variation with M is found.     

光栅投影轮廓测量的系统标定技术

针对在光栅投影轮廓测量术中系统标定可操作性不强、精度不高的问题进行了全面的分析 ,在此基础上提出一种新的系统结构 ,并推导了物相关系。由于去掉了传统结构的平行和垂直两个约束条件 ,测量系统中摄像机和投影装置可以采取任意相对位置 ,操作十分灵活。对新系统提出了方便实用的标定方法 ,在其中引入了摄像机定标技术。应用该测量系统和标定技术进行实例检测 ,测量结果证明 :与传统方法相比 ,可操作性和检测精度得到了提高     

分子模拟实验课程建设的探索与实践

We put forward the idea of building a molecular simulation experiment course. After two-year teaching practice, we write the experiment textbook which not only covers the classic experimental projects, but also includes the frontier hot issues, and open exploration experiment. This article summarizes the teaching requirements, basic content, assessment methods, the initial achievements made so far and the prospects for the future.     

A machine learning efficient frontier

We propose a simple approach to bridge between portfolio theory and machine learning. The outcome is an out-of-sample machine learning efficient frontier based on two assets, high risk and low risk. By rotating between the two assets, we show that the proposed frontier dominates the mean–variance efficient frontier out-of-sample. Our results, therefore, shed important light on the appeal of machine learning into portfolio selection under estimation risk.     

Phase Transition in Vertex-Reinforced Random Walks on {\mathbb{Z}} with Non-linear Reinforcement

Vertex-reinforced random walk is a random process which visits a site with probability proportional to the weight w _k of the number k of previous visits. We show that if w _k ∼ k ^α, then there is a large time T ₀ such that after T ₀ the walk visits 2, 5, or ∞ sites when α < 1, = 1, or > 1, respectively. More general results are also proven.      

An Analytic Zariski Structure Over a Field

Following the introduction and preliminary investigations of analytic Zariski structures in Peatfield and Zilber (Ann pure Appl Logic 132:125–180, 2005) an example of an analytic Zariski structure extending an algebraically closed field is provided. The example is constructed using Hrushovski’s method of free amalgamation, and a topology is introduced in which we can verify the analytic Zariski axioms.     

SDP diagonalizations and perspective cuts for a class of nonseparable MIQP

We present a new approach, requiring the solution of a SemiDefinite Program, for decomposing the Hessian of a nonseparable mixed-integer quadratic problem to permit using perspective cuts to improve its continuous relaxation bound. The new method favorably compares with a previously proposed one requiring a minimum eigenvalue computation.
