相干介观系统中散粒噪声的Monte Carlo模拟方法研究

根据电荷通过低温量子导体时具有的二项分布导致散粒噪声这一结论,结合Landauer电流公式的物理内涵建立了相干介观系统中的散粒噪声模型,并通过Monte Carlo模拟方法产生了散粒噪声时间序列.介观系统中散粒噪声的抑制来源于电子输运时的相关性,传输本征值双峰分布导致量子混沌腔和无序金属中的散粒噪声抑制.根据这两个结论,通过Monte Carlo模拟定性地分析了传输本征值分布与电子输运相关性之间的关系. 关键词： 散粒噪声 Landauer公式 介观系统     

Tracer diffusion in lattice gases

It has been proved that a tracer particle in a reversible lattice gas converges to Brownian motion. However, only in a few particular cases has a strictly positive self-diffusion coefficientD been established. Here we supply the missing piece and show thatD>0 in general. The exceptions are one-dimensional lattice gases with nearest neighbor jumps only, for whichD=0. The proof establishes a variational formula forD which could be used to obtain realistic bounds.     

On the phase space approach to complexity

We elaborate in some detail on a new phase space approach to complexity, due to Y.-C. Zhang. We show in particular that the connection between maximal complexity and power law noise or correlations can be derived from a simple variational principle. For a 1D signal we find 1/f noise, in accordance with Zhang.

In this note, we prove that the limit of as p→∞ exists and is expressed by the (unique) solution of some simultaneous transcendental equations. By using this expression we obtain numerically.

On Hardy’s Theorem on SU(1, 1)

The classical Hardy theorem asserts that ■ and its Fourier transform ■ can not both be very rapidly decreasing.This theorem was generalized on Lie groups and also for the Fourier-Jacobi transform.However,on SU(1,1)there are infinitely many"good"functions in the sense that ■ and its spherical Fourier transform ■ both have good decay. In this paper,we shall characterize such functions on SU(1,1).     

Modularity of a certain Calabi-Yau threefold and combinatorial congruences

We prove a certain Calabi-Yau threefold is modular in the sense that the number of points on its reduction modulo p is expressed in terms of the pth coefficient of a weight 4 newform in S₄(Γ₀(6)). Infinite-Dimensional Black-Scholes Equation with Hereditary Structure

This paper considers the option pricing problem for contingent claims of the European type in a (B,S)-market in which the stock price and the asset in the riskless bank account both have hereditary structures. The Black-Scholes equation for the classical option pricing problem is generalized to an infinite-dimensional equation to include the effects of time delay in the evolution of the financial market as well as a very general payoff function. A computational algorithm for the solution is also obtained via a double sequence of polynomials of a certain bounded linear functional on a Banach space and the time variable.
