The main purpose of this article is to study the periodicity of a Lotka-Volterra''s competition system with feedback controls. In this paper, based on a multidimensional Riemann theta function, a lucid and straightforward generalization of the Hirota-Riemann method is presented to explicitly construct multiperiodic Riemann theta functions periodic wave solutions for nonlinear equations such as the Caudrey-Dodd-Gibbon-Sawada-Kotera equation and (2+1)-dimensional breaking soliton equation. Among these periodic waves, the one-periodic waves are well-known cnoidal waves, their surface pattern is one-dimensional, and often they are used as one-dimensional models of periodic waves. The two-periodic waves are a direct generalization of one-periodic waves, their surface pattern is two-dimensional so that they have two independent spatial periods in two independent horizontal directions. A limiting procedure is presented to analyze in detail, asymptotic behavior of the multiperiodic waves and the relations between the periodic wave solutions and soliton solutions are rigorously established. This generalized Hirota-Riemann method can also be demonstrated on a class variety of nonlinear difference equations such as Toeplitz lattice equation. 相似文献

In this paper, we study dynamics of a prey-predator system under the impulsive control. Sufficient conditions of the existence and the stability of semi-trivial periodic solutions are obtained by using the analogue of the Poincaré criterion. It is shown that the positive periodic solution bifurcates from the semi-trivial periodic solution through a transcritical bifurcation. A strategy of impulsive state feedback control is suggested to ensure the persistence of two species. Furthermore, a steady positive period-2 solution bifurcates from the positive periodic solution by the flip bifurcation, and the chaotic solution is generated via a cascade of flip bifurcations. In this paper, we study a class of periodic SEIRS epidemic models and it is shown that the global dynamics is determined by the basic reproduction number R0 which is defined through the spectral radius of a linear integral operator. If R0<1, then the disease free periodic solution is globally asymptotically stable and if R0>1, then the disease persists. Our results really improve the results in [T. Zhang, Z. Teng, On a nonautonomous SEIRS model in epidemiology Bull. Math. Biol. 69 (8) (2007) 2537-2559] for the periodic case. Moreover, from our results, we see that the eradication policy on the basis of the basic reproduction number of the time-averaged system may overestimate the infectious risk of the periodic disease. In this paper, we study the nonlinear one-dimensional periodic wave equation with x-dependent coefficients u(x)ytt−(ux(x)yx)+g(x,t,y)=f(x,t) on (0,π)×R under the boundary conditions a1y(0,t)+b1yx(0,t)=0, a2y(π,t)+b2yx(π,t)=0 ( for i=1,2) and the periodic conditions y(x,t+T)=y(x,t), yt(x,t+T)=yt(x,t). Such a model arises from the forced vibrations of a nonhomogeneous string and the propagation of seismic waves in nonisotropic media. A main concept is the notion “weak solution” to be given in Section 2. For T is the rational multiple of π, we prove some important properties of the weak solution operator.
