Topological structure preserving numerical simulations of dynamical models

This paper brings together two methods producing numerical solutions with a statement of their quality — the nonstandard finite difference method and the method of validated computing. It deals with the construction and the analysis of reliable numerical discretizations of dynamical systems by employing these two techniques. An epidemiological model is used as a model example for their combined application.     

New results on the analytic summation of Adomian series for some classes of differential and integral equations

In this paper, we demonstrate that an infinite number of successive integration by parts can be written in a closed form. This closed form can be used directly to prove that the analytic summation of Adomian series becomes identical to the closed form solution for some classes of differential and integral equations.     

Transfer of charge in liquid alloys

Hard sphere diameters of liquid alkali metal alloys (Na-Cs and K-Rb) are calculated at 373 K ensuring the minimum Helmholtz free energy of the system. These diameters are then used to fix the packing density of the alloy. On alloying, the hard sphere diameters of Na in Na-Cs and K in K-Rb alloys expand whereas those of Cs and Rb contract.     

Stability Concepts in Topological Dynamics by Nonstandard Methods

It is known that it is not possible to introduce C⁰ -structural stability for whole systems in topological dynamics. Using the methods of Nonstandard Analysis, we suggest four different purely topological stability concepts for dynamical systems on compact subsets of Rⁿ. Classically these amount to considering the space of all systems on a given subset of Rⁿ as the fundamental entity when deforming a continuous system (instead of the space of all continuous systems as is normally done in topological dynamics). For two of the introduced stability concepts, we will show that all minimal flows are stable in this sense. Besides this, we will show that one of our stability concepts is related to what is called the pseudo orbit tracing property in a recently published book by Aoki and Hiraide and compare some of our results to the theory of dynamical systems as presented there.

本文用Liapunov第二方法分析非保守力作用下直杆的塑性动态稳定性.杆处于粘性阻尼介质中,并受到切向均布的随动载荷作用.分析中在应力-应变关系中引入了应变率效应.导出了一个稳定性条件,并求出了临界失稳载荷,讨论了应变率效应对杆的稳定性的影响.     

具有时变滞后的随机系统的时滞依赖鲁棒稳定性与H_∞分析

研究具有时变滞后与Markov跳跃的随机系统的鲁棒随机稳定性与H_∞分析.通过引进随机Liapunov-Krasovskii泛函,使用自由权矩阵技术(即何技术),得到时滞依赖鲁棒随机稳定性与H_∞扰动衰减的线性矩阵不等式判据.3个数值例子说明提供的方法是有效的,并且与相关文献中存在的一些结果相比是低保守的.     

Influence of the surface deformability and variable viscosity on buoyant - thermocapillary instability in a liquid layer

The primary stationary and oscillatory Bénard-Marangoni instability is investigated in a fluid layer of infinite horizontal extent, bounded below by a rigid plane and above by a deformable upper surface, subjected to a vertical temperature gradient. Since the viscosity is temperature-dependent the consequences of relaxing Oberbeck-Boussinesq approximation and free surface deformability are theoretically examined by means of small disturbance analysis. The problem has been solved numerically by the Taylor series expansion method. The results obtained confirm that when the free surface is undeformable, stationary convection develops in the form of polygonal cells, and oscillatory motion cannot be detected. When the surface deformability is considered, stationary convection sets in, either as a short-wavelength hexagonal instability or as a long-wavelengh mode or as both, and oscillatory convection is also possible. The stability threshold for the short-wavelength mode depends mainly on the viscosity variation while the long-wavelength mode is determined by the surface deformation. Numerically, it is found that the neutral oscillatory Marangoni numbers are only negative. When a variable-viscosity model is used the theoretical and experimental results are in better agreement. 关于β稳定线公式的一个评注

指出β稳定线公式应在理论框架下通过自洽的计算决定.这与传统的β稳定线公式略有区别.本文还对在Hartree-Fock近似下的β稳定线公式给出了一个评注.     

水稻糙米粗蛋白近红外光谱定量分析模型的优化研究

筛选有代表性的191份糙米样品为试材,其中42份来自国家稻种资源库、149份来自水旱稻杂交产生的DH系,蛋白质含量变幅5.90％～14.50％,采用偏最小二乘法(PLS)建立模型,并构造模型的评价参数——目标函数[R/(1+RMSECV)], 同时借助校正集和验证集两个载荷向量得分二维空间投影图,对近红外定量模型进行评价和优化。结果表明: 在5 000～9 000 cm-1范围内,预处理方法为一阶导数,校正模型和外部检验的目标函数值分别为0.701和0.687;两载荷向量得分直观分布图显示样品的聚类结果与目标函数筛选结果一致,也进一步验证了目标函数是模型评价和优化的有效指标。
