In this article, we obtain some stability results for parametric weak vector equilibrium problem with set-valued mappings. By using a scalarization method, we establish sufficient conditions for the semicontinuity of the approximate solution mappings to parametric set-valued weak vector equilibrium problem under weak assumptions. Active constraint set invariancy sensitivity analysis is concerned with finding the range of parameter variation so that the perturbed problem has still an optimal solution with the same support set that the given optimal solution of the unperturbed problem has. However, in an optimization problem with inequality constraints, active constraint set invariancy sensitivity analysis aims to find the range of parameter variation, where the active constraints in a given optimal solution remains invariant.For the sake of simplicity, we consider the primal problem in standard form and consequently its dual may have an optimal solution with some active constraints. In this paper, the following question is answered: “what is the range of the parameter, where for each parameter value in this range, a dual optimal solution exists with exactly the same set of positive slack variables as for the current dual optimal solution?”. The differences of the results between the linear and convex quadratic optimization problems are highlighted too.  相似文献

Stability investigations of vibration suppression employing the concept of actuators with a variable stiffness are presented. Systems with an arbitrary number of degrees of freedom with linear spring- and damping-elements are considered that are subject to self-excitation as well as parametric stiffness excitation. General conditions for full vibration suppression and conditions of instability are derived analytically by applying a singular perturbation of first and second order. The analytical predictions are compared for exemplary systems by numerical time integration and show a great improvement of former results. These basic results obtained can be used for accurate design of a control strategy for actuators. We develop the general framework of sensitivity analysis for equilibrium problems in the setting of vector topological normed space. Our approach does not make any recourse to geometrical properties and the obtained result can be viewed as an extension and generalization of the well-known results (on variational inequalities) in the literature. Even though we have worked under arbitrary constraints Kλ with Hölder-property—that have been decisive in our treatment—we have obtained, in a similar spirit of Domokos [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 230 (1999) 382-389], the best lower bound for the continuity modulus despite of the properties of the boundary of Kλ.  相似文献

A general stationary case of a Brownian particle with a time-dependent periodic potential proportional to the square of the position of the particle is treated. Even though the vigorous change of the time-dependent proportionality coefficient is applied, there are cases where the fluctuation of the particle decreases in contrary to our intuition, which is called classical fluctuation squeezing. We obtain time-average variances analytically for general cases of an arbitrary change in the coefficient and find conditions favorable for classical fluctuation squeezing. We introduce an asymmetric function behaves like trigonometric cosine one and consider its behavior explicitly.  相似文献

In this work, we present a new algorithm for solving complex multi-stage optimization problems involving hard constraints and uncertainties, based on dynamic and multi-parametric programming techniques. Each echelon of the dynamic programming procedure, typically employed in the context of multi-stage optimization models, is interpreted as a multi-parametric optimization problem, with the present states and future decision variables being the parameters, while the present decisions the corresponding optimization variables. This reformulation significantly reduces the dimension of the original problem, essentially to a set of lower dimensional multi-parametric programs, which are sequentially solved. Furthermore, the use of sensitivity analysis circumvents non-convexities that naturally arise in constrained dynamic programming problems. The potential application of the proposed novel framework to robust constrained optimal control is highlighted.  相似文献

Computer simulations have played a critical role in functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) research, notably in the validation of new data analysis methods. Many approaches have been used to generate fMRI simulations, but there is currently no generic framework to assess how realistic each one of these approaches may be. In this article, a statistical technique called parametric bootstrap was used to generate a simulation database that mimicked the parameters found in a real database, which comprised 40 subjects and five tasks. The simulations were evaluated by comparing the distributions of a battery of statistical measures between the real and simulated databases. Two popular simulation models were evaluated for the first time by applying the bootstrap framework. The first model was an additive mixture of multiple components and the second one implemented a non-linear motion process. In both models, the simulated components included the following brain dynamics: a baseline, physiological noise, neural activation and random noise. These models were found to successfully reproduce the relative variance of the components and the temporal autocorrelation of the fMRI time series. By contrast, the level of spatial autocorrelation was found to be drastically low using the additive model. Interestingly, the motion process in the second model intrisically generated some slow time drifts and increased the level of spatial autocorrelations. These experiments demonstrated that the bootstrap framework is a powerful new tool that can pinpoint the respective strengths and limitations of simulation models.  相似文献

A stochastic averaging method is proposed for nonlinear energy harvesters subjected to external white Gaussian noise and parametric excitations. The Fokker–Planck–Kolmogorov equation of the coupled electromechanical system of energy harvesting is a three variables nonlinear parabolic partial differential equation whose exact stationary solutions are generally hard to find. In order to overcome difficulties in solving higher dimensional nonlinear partial differential equations, a transformation scheme is applied to decouple the electromechanical equations. The averaged Itô equations are derived via the standard stochastic averaging method, then the FPK equations of the decoupled system are obtained. The exact stationary solution of the averaged FPK equation is used to determine the probability densities of the displacement, the velocity, the amplitude, the joint probability densities of the displacement and velocity, and the power of the stationary response. The effects of the system parameters on the output power are examined. The approximate analytical outcomes are qualitatively and quantitatively supported by the Monte Carlo simulations.  相似文献

Free vibrations of a beam-mass-spring system with different boundary conditions are analyzed both analytically and numerically.In the analytical analysis,the system is divided into three subsystems and the effects of the spring and the point mass are considered as internal boundary conditions between any two neighboring subsystems.The partial differential equations governing the motion of the subsystems and internal boundary conditions are then solved using the method of separation of variables.In the numerical analysis,the whole system is considered as a single system and the effects of the spring and point mass are introduced using the Dirac delta function.The Galerkin method is then employed to discretize the equation of motion and the resulting set of ordinary differential equations are solved via eigenvalue analysis.Analytical and numerical results are shown to be in very good agreement.  相似文献

Parametric search is a useful tool in geometric optimization. Invented by Nimrod Megiddo in 1983, it has been widely used in computational geometry.
