Positive solutions of second-order differential systems with nonhomogeneous boundary conditions

This paper is to investigate the positive solutions of the systems of second-order ordinary differential equations with nonhomogeneous multi-point boundary conditions. By the lower and upper solutions method, Schauder fixed point theorem and fixed point index theory, under certain conditions, it is proved that there exist appropriate regions of parameters in which the problem has at least two, at least one or no positive solution.

??In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions for reflected backward stochastic differential equations driven by a Levy process, in which the reflecting barriers are just right continuous with left limits whose jumps are arbitrary. To derive the above results, the monotonic limit theorem of Backward SDE associated with Levy process is established.     

The existence of a positive solution for nonlinear fractional differential equations with integral boundary value conditions

In this paper, first, we consider the existence of a positive solution for the nonlinear fractional differential equation boundary value problem where 0≤λ < 1,^CD^α is the Caputo's differential operator of order α, and f:[0,1] × [0,∞)→[0,∞) is a continuous function. Using some cone theoretic techniques, we deduce a general existence theorem for this problem. Then, we consider two following more general problems for arbitrary α, 1≤n < α≤n + 1: Problem 1: where , 0≤λ < k + 1; Problem 2: where 0≤λ≤α and D^α is the Riemann–Liouville fractional derivative of order α. Krasnoselskii‐type fixed point theorems with applications to Hammerstein integral equations in spaces

In this paper, we study fixed point theorems and new variants of some nonlinear altenatives of Krasnoselskii type in Banach spaces by using measures of weak noncompactness. Then we give an application to solve a nonlinear Hammerstein integral equation in L¹ spaces.     

Dispersion Characteristics of Arbitrary Periodic Structures with Rectangular Grooves

The dispersion characteristics of a circular cylindrical waveguide with periodic surface corrugations consisting of rectangular grooves with smoothing are examined using the Space Harmonic Method (SHM). The whole structure is divided into two regions, one describing the propagation volume and one inside the grooves. In the first region, the Floquet theorem is applicable and the field distribution is expressed as a summation of spatial Bloch components, whereas in the second one an appropriate Fourier expansion of standing waves is used. Applying the boundary conditions an infinite system of equations is obtained, which is solved numerically by truncation. Several cases are considered, including the limiting cases of a sinusoidal and a rectangular corrugation profile, to check the accuracy of the method proposed as well as its dependence on the corrugation profile. Numerical results are presented only for transverse magnetic modes, although the formalism can be easily extended to include all kinds of waves that can in principle propagate in such a structure.     

An implicit function theorem for Banach spaces and some applications

We prove a generalized implicit function theorem for Banach spaces, without the usual assumption that the subspaces involved being complemented. Then we apply it to the problem of parametrization of fibers of differentiable maps, the Lie subgroup problem for Banach–Lie groups, as well as Weil’s local rigidity for homomorphisms from finitely generated groups to Banach–Lie groups.      

弱Orlicz鞅空间的弱原子分解及其应用

对3类由凹函数生成的弱Orlicz鞅空间建立了相应的弱原子分解.作为应用,首先给出了这些弱Orlicz鞅空间上次线性算子有界的一个充分条件,并在此基础上证明了一些弱型鞅不等式,然后证明了关于这些弱Orlicz鞅空间的Marcinkiewicz型插值定理.     

含临界指数与Hardy项耦合椭圆系统的非平凡解

研究了一类含临界指数耦合非线性项的奇异椭圆方程组,通过对临界耦合非线性项的分析与精确的能量估计,利用环绕定理,得到了这类方程组非平凡解的存在性.
