The Paley--Wiener Theorem for the Generalized Radon Transform on the Plane

We consider the problem of reconstructing a function on the disk from its integrals over curves close to straight lines, i.e., the inversion problem for the generalized Radon transform. Necessary and sufficient conditions on the range of the generalized Radon transform are obtained for functions supported in a smaller disk under the additional condition that the curves that do not meet coincide with the corresponding straight lines.     

A Generalization of the Hilbert Basis Theorem

A generalization of the Hilbert basis theorem in the geometric setting is proposed. It asserts that, for any well-describable (in a certain sense) family of polynomials, there exists a number C such that if P is an everywhere dense (in a certain sense) subfamily of this family, a is an arbitrary point, and the first C polynomials in any sequence from P vanish at the point a, then all polynomials from P vanish at a.     

Extremal Values of L-Functions Associated with Newforms in the Half-Plane of Absolute Convergence

We prove estimates for extremal values of L-functions associated with newforms f in the half-plane of absolute convergence of their Dirichlet series expansion. The proof is based on an effective version of Kronecker's approximation theorem and estimates for the Fourier coefficients of the newform f.     

Consistent values and the core in continuum market games with two types of players

The consistent value is an extension of the Shapley value to the class of games with non-transferable utility.? In this paper, the consistent value will be characterized for market games with a continuum of players of two types. We will show that for such games the consistent value need not belong to the core, and provide conditions under which there is equivalence between the two concepts. ASYMPTOTIC NORMALITY OF KERNEL ESTIMATES OF A DENSITY FUNCTION UNDER ASSOCIATION DEPENDENCE

Let {X_n, n≥1} be a strictly stationary sequence of random variables, whichare either associated or negatively associated, f(·) be their common density. In this paper,the author shows a central limit theorem for a kernel estimate of f(·) under certain regularconditions.     

随机变量的截尾与一类强偏差定理

通过极限相对对数似然比，利用随机变量截尾的方法并结合鞅这一工具研究相依连续型和离散型随机变量序列的性质，得到一类用不等式表示的强偏差定理．     

均值-方差效用函数在证券组合投资决策中的应用

本文利用均值—方差效用函数，按期望效用最大化准则建立并分析了证券组合投资决策模型。在投资者的效用函数为指数型效用函数时，得到了两基金定理分离权重的计算公式。得出了在均值——方差效用函数条件下期望效用最大化准则与M—V期望收益最大化准则一致的结论。     

平面运动学位似运动Steiner公式的推广

对单参数闭平面复意义位似运动，给出了Muller提出的Steiner公式和混合面公式的表达式。利用推广的Steiner公式得到了位似运动的Holditch定理．作为特例，给出了Muller位似比h≡1时的结果。     

A generalized sandwich theorem

It is proved for an arbitrary commutative ring A with identity and any integer n3 that if H is a subgroup of GL_n(A) normalized by E _n(A,q), then there is an ideal of A such that E _n(A,) H GL _n (A, (:q⁴⁰).Furthermore, is uniquely determined up to a certain equivalence relation on the set of ideals of A. The result extends a theorem of Bak, by removing a stability condition he uses on A.     

Central limit theorem for quadratic forms for sparse tables

Sufficient conditions for asymptotic normality for quadratic forms in {n_t − np_t} are given, where {n_t} are the observed counts with expected cell means {np_t}. The main result is used to derive asymptotic distributions of many statistics including the Pearson's chi-square.
