This paper addresses scheduling models in which a contribution of an individual job to the objective function is represented by the product of its processing time and a certain positional weight. We review most of the known results in the area and demonstrate that a linear assignment algorithm as part of previously known solution procedures can be replaced by a faster matching algorithm that minimizes a linear form over permutations. Our approach reduces the running time of the resulting algorithms by up to two orders, and carries over to a wider range of models, with more general positional effects. Besides, the same approach works for the models with no prior history of study, e.g., parallel machine scheduling with deterioration and maintenance to minimize total flow time.  相似文献

This article investigates the input/state model matching problem of switched asynchronous sequential machines (ASMs) with the external switching signal in the framework of corrective control theory. The considered switched ASM is governed by the external switching signal that arbitrarily changes the mode of the switched ASM, prompting the active submachine into unpredictable state drift. We address the existence condition and design procedure for a proper corrective controller that matches the stable-state behavior of the closed-loop system to that of a reference model under any switching sequence. An illustrative example is provided for demonstrating the synthesis procedure of the proposed corrective controller. Compared with the prior work, the subject of this study is more challenging since rather than manipulated in favor of attaining model matching, the switching signal inflicts adversarial dynamic constraint that must be overcome by the controller.  相似文献

Economic wood processing employs the use of industrial machines for cutting, shaping, milling, and sawing timber, thereby leading to the generation of high levels of noise. Published data from empirical studies have categorized noise as an environmental hazard of global significance. Furthermore, noise exposure limits for different industries and all the industrial machines available has not been formally established as it presently exists in developed nations around the world. Therefore, this study assessed the daily exposure of sawmills workers to noise in Southwestern Nigeria. Reconnaissance surveys were first carried out in Osun, Oyo, Ondo, Ekiti, Lagos, and Ogun States to select sawmills that were fully operational and fit for the study. Two fully functional sawmills in two cities of each State were eventually selected for data collection, making a total of 24 sawmills, while the Circular Machines (CM), Planer Machines (PM), and Band-saw Machines (BM) were the machines in each sawmill considered. Two machines each of CM, PM, and BM were considered in each sawmill, making a total of forty-eight (48) machines each of CM, PM, and BM. Sound data were collected between 7 am and 7 pm each day for six days (between Monday and Saturday) using Extech 407732 sound level meter and all stabilized measurements were taken three times at different intervals. The data collected were in three different periods: Machine No-work Period (NPm), Machine Idle Period (IPm), and Machine Working Period (WPm). A two–way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was carried out at P < 0.05 to determine whether there is a significant difference in the sound level average before and after the break, for both the idle and working periods of the three machines considered. This was also done to determine whether there is a significant difference between the sound level average of the results collected during idle and working periods of the three machines. Noise Pollution Levels (Lnp) ranged from 83.20 dB (PM) to 107.65 (BM) and 93.42 (CM and PM) – 116.00 (BM) respectively, while IPm also gave the least noise pollution level of 95.79 dB and WPm gave the highest level of 102.88 dB. The results revealed that all the machines’ Lnp values in the working period are more than the 90 dB acceptable limit the recommendation value of 90 dB while 89.6% of CMs, 75% of PMs, and 89.6% of BM had their Lnp above 90 dB in the idle period respectively. The minimum and the maximum noise dose levels for IPm, WPm and overall are 0.09 (BM) and 2.37 (CM), 0.50 (CM), and 4.77 (PM) and 0.69 (BM) and 6.64 (PM) respectively. The study found out that the fundamental contributing factors to the high noise levels in sawmills are poor machine maintenance, use of old and obsolete machines, poor housekeeping strategy, limited space, workers’ negligence, lack of PPE, and lack of occupational safety training. The study recommends that proper workplace practices such as use of personal protective equipment, new and modern machines, training, and occupational safety programmes be implemented in the considered sawmills.  相似文献

We consider the problem of scheduling n independent jobs on m unrelated parallel machines with sequence-dependent setup times and availability dates for the machines and release dates for the jobs to minimize a regular additive cost function. In this work, we develop a new branch-and-price optimization algorithm for the solution of this general class of parallel machines scheduling problems. A new column generation accelerating method, termed “primal box”, and a specific branching variable selection rule that significantly reduces the number of explored nodes are proposed. The computational results show that the approach solves problems of large size to optimality within reasonable computational time.  相似文献

共采集了112个番茄茎秆高光谱数据(光谱范围400~1 030 nm),结合图像处理和化学计量学方法建立了番茄茎秆灰霉病早期诊断模型。应用偏最小二乘法(PLS)模型的隐含变量载荷分布选取了七个特征波长(EW),并建立了番茄茎秆灰霉病早期诊断的最小二乘支持向量机(LS-SVM)模型。结果表明,经过变量标准化(SNV)及多元散射校正(MSC)预处理所建立的EW-LS-SVM模型获得了满意的判别效果,且优于全波段的PLS模型。说明高光谱成像技术进行番茄茎秆灰霉病的早期诊断是可行的,为番茄病害早期诊断和预警提供了新的方法。  相似文献

In the detection of bearing faults the so much desired objective remains the extraction of the defect vibratory signature from the measured signal in which immerses the random noise and other components of the machine. In this article a denoising method of the measured signals is presented. Based on the optimization of wavelet multiresolution analysis, it uses the kurtosis as an optimization and evaluation criterion, several parameters were then selected. The experimental results show the validity of this method within the detection of several defects simulated on ball bearings. The various configurations, in which the signals were measured, allow leading to optimum conditions of its application. The application of WMRA on filtered signals allows better results than its application on wide bands signals or a simple band pass filtering.  相似文献

由于碳交易市场价格的波动性大及相互影响关系的复杂性,本文试图构建碳价格长期和短期的最优预测模型。考虑到碳交易价格波动的趋势性和周期性特点,基于经验模态分解算法(EMD)、遗传算法(GA)—神经网络(BP)模型、粒子群算法(PSO)—最小二乘支持向量机(LSSVM)模型及由它们构建的组合预测模型,对中国碳市场交易价格进行短期预测和长期预测。实证分析中将影响碳交易价格的不同宏观经济因素和碳价格时间序列因素做为输入变量,分别代入组合模型进行预测。研究结果表明,在短期预测中,EMD-GA-BP模型预测效果优于GA-BP模型和PSO-LSSVM模型;而在长期预测中,组合模型EMD-PSO-LSSVM模型预测效果优于只考虑碳价格波动趋势性或周期性预测效果。  相似文献

为快速鉴别潲水油,采用三维同步荧光光谱结合平行因子法解析潲水油的特征波长差(Δλ),并利用支持向量机建立潲水油鉴别模型。结果表明,潲水油的特征Δλ为60 nm;特征Δλ下的样品原始同步荧光光谱经过主成分分析提取5个主成分,以径向基函数(RBF)为核函数,利用网格搜索和6-fold交叉验证优化建模参数,得到惩罚因子C=512、核参数g=0.5,该条件下建立的模型对训练集和预测集的判别率均达到100%。采用同步荧光光谱可以快速、准确地鉴别潲水油。  相似文献
