The symmetry reduction method based on the Fréchet derivative of differential operators is applied to investigate symmetries of the Einstein-Maxwell field equations for magnetostatic fields, which is a coupled system of nonlinear partial differential equations of the second order. The technique yields invariant transformations that reduce the given system of partial differential equations to a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. Spontaneous ignition of single n-heptane droplets in a constant volume filled with air is numerically simulated with the spherical symmetry. The volume is closed against mass, species, and energy transfer. The numerical model is fully transient. It continues calculation even after the droplet has completely vaporized, and therefore can predict pre-vaporized ignition. Initial pressure and initial air temperature are fixed at 3 MPa and 773 K, respectively. The droplet is initially at room temperature, and its diameter is between 1 and 100 μm. When the overall equivalence ratio is fixed to be sufficiently large, there exists no ignition limit in terms of initial droplet diameter d0, and the ignition delay takes a minimum value at certain d0. In such a case, transition from the heterogeneous ignition to the homogeneous ignition with decreasing d0 is observed. When d0 is fixed to be so small that the ignition would not occur in an infinite volume of air, the ignition delay takes a minimum value at certain , which is less than unity. Two-stage ignition behavior is investigated with this model. Ignition delay of a cool flame has the dependence on d0 that is similar to that of ignition delay of a hot flame when is unity. When is almost zero, the ignition limit for cool flame in terms of d0 is not identified unlike that for hot flame. 相似文献

We find by numerical experiment that these procedures are essentially nonoscillatory without any stringent cfl limitation (cfl∈[0.8,1]), for scalar hyperbolic problems (both linear and scalar conservation laws), provided that the exponent pβ in the definition of the Jiang–Shu [G.S. Jiang, C.W. Shu, Efficient implementation of weighted eno schemes, J. Comput. Phys. 126 (1996) 202–228] nonlinear weights be taken as pβ=r, as originally proposed by Liu et al. [X.D. Liu, S. Osher, T. Chan, Weighted essentially nonoscillatory schemes, J. Comput. Phys. 115 (1994) 200–212], instead of pβ=2 (this is valid both for weno and wenom reconstructions), although the optimal value of the exponent is probably pβ(r)∈[2,r]. Then, we apply the family of very-high-order wenompβ=r reconstructions to the Euler equations of gasdynamics, by combining local characteristic decomposition [A. Harten, B. Engquist, S. Osher, S.R. Chakravarthy, Uniformly high-order accurate essentially nonoscillatory schemes iii, J. Comput. Phys. 71 (1987) 231–303], with recursive-order-reduction (ror) aiming at aleviating the problems induced by the nonlinear interactions of characteristic fields within the stencil. The proposed ror algorithm, which generalizes the algorithm of Titarev and Toro [V.A. Titarev, E.F. Toro, Finite-volume weno schemes for 3-D conservation laws, J. Comput. Within the concept of the dinuclear system (DNS), a dynamical model is proposed for describing the formation of superheavy nuclei in complete fusion reactions by incorporating the coupling of the relative motion to the nucleon transfer process. The capture of two heavy colliding nuclei, the formation of the compound nucleus and the de-excitation process are calculated by using an empirical coupled channel model, solving a set of microscopically derived master equations numerically and applying statistical theory, respectively. Fusion-fission reactions and evaporation residue excitation functions of synthesizing superheavy nuclei (SHN) are investigated systematically and compared them with available experimental data. 为消除传统细分方法中由于两路条纹信号不正交引入的细分误差,提出了一种可对任意相位差条纹信号直接细分的新方法。根据两路条纹信号的极性和幅值大小,把一个信号周期分成8个区段。高速采集两路条纹信号,通过判断信号采样点所处的区段是否跳变对信号幅值交点进行动态跟踪。对不足一个周期的条纹移动,当测量出起点与终点的幅值,计算出其所在的区段及位置后,结合两路信号的交点,可实现对任意相位差条纹信号的细分。实验结果表明,该方法突破了传统细分方法必须信号正交的限制,可对任意相位差信号进行准确地细分,降低了条纹测量中器件安装与调试的难度,具有更强的环境适应性和抗干扰能力。 相似文献

In this paper, we report that a diode-pumped thulium-doped double clad silica fiber laser can provide powers of up to 227 W at 1908 nm, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 54.3%, and an optical-to-optical efficiency of 51.2%. The output power, to the best of our knowledge, is the highest output at 1908 nm. The beam quality M2 factor is about 1.56. Also discussed in this paper is the dependence of the laser performance on fiber length. 相似文献
