Char-forming property of PU rigid foams, which can be assessed by char residue (%) when PU is burned at certain temperature, was studied by TG and DTG. The results showed that pure PU rigid foam had low char residue of only 17%, while 33% of char residue was achieved when PU rigid foam was modified by adding 8 wt% of 1-oxo-2,6,7-trioxa-1-phosphabicyclo[2,2,2] octane (PEPA), which is a caged bicyclic phosphate. The experiment results of FTIR and XPS showed that the PEPA modified PU rigid foam could be dehydrogenated and dehydrated at temperature between 380 and 450 °C, resulting in the increase of char residue of PU rigid foam. Further study also revealed that the addition of CaCO3 nanoparticles could enhance the char stability when the PEPA modified PU rigid foam was being burned. The mechanism was investigated and it was found that the enhanced char stability could be attributed to the limited permeation of oxygen caused by the formation of calcium phosphate and calcium pyrophosphate by the reaction of PEPA and CaCO3 at high temperature, which were covered on or buried in the char layer. 相似文献
Isotherms for the adsorption of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, sodium POE (4) nonyl phenol sulfate, and POE (25) nonyl phenol, on the hydrophobic crystalline herbicides atrazine and cyanazine were determined. Anionic surfactants were measured at 5°, 25°, and 50° C; the nonionic surfactant at 25° C only. Low degrees of surface coverage were observed; in only one case (atra-zine/NaDBS) was monolayer coverage approached. On the other hand, adsorption was accompanied by a significant increase in negative zeta potential. Although DLVO calculations suggest that this adsorption should lead to stable aggregates, these are of such size that gravitational effects overpower the DLVO terms. 相似文献
Syntheses of carbohydrate-functionalized platinum complexes resembling presently employed cytostatics were performed. Mono-allylated sugar substrates obtained in two steps from glucose and galactose were connected with 2-allyl diethyl malonate by cross-metathesis. Following hydrogenation and acidic cleavage of the ester and alkylidene functionalities gave dicarboxylated glycoconjugates, which were transformed into their diammine platinum complexes. The antitumor activities of these platinum complexes were checked by sensitivity testing with 11 lung cancer cell lines. The novel glucose-platinum complex proved to be comparable to the drug carboplatin. 相似文献
3,6‐Connected cyclohexadienes as precursors for polyphenylenes are synthesized and characterized by mass spectrometry and NMR spectroscopy. Pure fractions of trimers, hexamers, and nonamers are collected after separation of the product mixture by recycling GPC. The anticipated formation of rigid linear structures, due to the trans‐configuration of the monomeric units, is supported by density functional theory and experimentally confirmed by dynamic light scattering from dilute solution at low scattering angles. The obtained translational diffusion coefficients are represented by rigid rod‐like or prolate ellipsoid‐like molecular shapes. The measurements of diffusion coefficients reveal a length‐dependent ratio of 1:2:3 between the three oligomers, which directly correlates to the expected length extension from trimer to nonamer.
A series of FR-RPUF composites were prepared by a one-step water foaming process with ammonium polyphosphate (APP) and steel slag (SS) as flame retardants. Thermogravimetric analysis (TG), limiting oxygen index (LOI), UL-94 vertical combustion test, microscale combustion calorimetry (MCC), TG-Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (TG-FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Raman spectra and FTIR were used to investigate the thermal stability, flame retardancy, combustion performance, gas phase products, and char residue morphology of FR-RPUF composites. TG test results showed that the initial decomposition temperature (T-5wt%) and char residue rate at 700°C of RPUF/APP/SS composites were significantly enhanced by the addition of APP and SS, and the thermal stability of the composites was improved. Flame retardant test results confirmed the significantly increased LOI values of RPUF/APP/SS composites with V-0 rating. TG-FTIR also confirmed the obviously decreased release of toxic gases and flammable gases in the combustion of RPUF/APP/SS composites. SEM and Raman spectra of char residues for the composites suggested that APP/SS system improved the compactness and graphitization degree of char layer for RPUF/APP/SS composite. The above researches provide a new strategy for the utilization of SS in fire safety engineering. 相似文献
Cytotoxicity and apoptosis-inducing properties of compounds isolated from Garcinia subelliptica leaves were investigated. The hexane-soluble portion of MeOH extracts of G. subelliptica leaves that showed cytotoxic activity was separated to yield seven compounds 1–7. Chemical structure analysis using NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry confirmed that compound 1 was canophyllol, and compounds 2–7 were garcinielliptones N, O, J, G, F, and garcinielliptin oxide, respectively. Among them, garcinielliptone G (5) showed growth inhibition by causing apoptosis in THP-1 and Jurkat cells derived from human acute monocytic leukemia and T lymphocyte cells, respectively. Apoptosis induced by garcinielliptone G (5) was demonstrated by the detection of early apoptotic cells with fluorescein-labeled Annexin V and increases in cleaved caspase-3 and cleaved PARP protein levels. However, the addition of caspase inhibitor Z-VAD-FMK did not affect growth arrest or apoptosis induction. These results suggest that garcinielliptone G (5) can induce both caspase-3 activation and caspase-independent apoptosis. Therefore, garcinielliptone G (5) may be a potential candidate for acute leukemia treatment. 相似文献
