Abstract

The synthesis and anticancer activity evaluation of new thiazolo[4,5-b]pyridine-5-carboxylic acid amides is described. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by spectroscopic data and a single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis for 2.4. The synthesized compounds were screened for their in vitro anticancer activity according to US NCI protocols. The most active 7-(4-fluorophenyl)-2-oxo-2,3-dihydrothiazolo[4,5-b]pyridine-5-carboxylic acid (4-chlorophenyl)amide 2.2 and 7-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-oxo-2,3-dihydrothiazolo[4,5-b]pyridine-5-carboxylic acid (4-chlorophenyl)amide 2.5 were screened for their cytotoxicity effects on C6 Rat glioma cells and U373 Human glioblastoma astrocytoma cells which revealed promising results comparable to temozolamide as reference control according MTT assay data.  相似文献

In this paper we provide an elementary proof of the existence of canard solutions for a class of singularly perturbed planar systems in which there occurs a transcritical bifurcation of the quasi steady states. The proof uses the one-dimensional result proved by V.F. Butuzov, N.N. Nefedov and K.R. Schneider, and an appropriate monotonicity assumption on the vector field. The result is applied to identify all possible predator–prey models with quadratic vector fields allowing for the existence of canard solutions.  相似文献

The Allen-Cahn equation ? Δu = u ? u 3 in ?2 has family of trivial singly periodic solutions that come from the one dimensional periodic solutions of the problem ?u″ =u ? u 3. In this paper we construct a non-trivial family of singly periodic solutions to the Allen-Cahn equation. Our construction relies on the connection between this equation and the infinite Toda lattice. We show that for each one-soliton solution to the infinite Toda lattice we can find a singly periodic solution to the Allen-Cahn equation, such that its level set is close to the scaled one-soliton. The solutions we construct are analogues of the family of Riemann minimal surfaces in ?3.  相似文献

Symmetric informationally complete measurements (SICs in short) are highly symmetric structures in the Hilbert space. They possess many nice properties which render them an ideal candidate for fiducial measurements. The symmetry of SICs is intimately connected with the geometry of the quantum state space and also has profound implications for foundational studies. Here we explore those SICs that are most symmetric according to a natural criterion and show that all of them are covariant with respect to the Heisenberg–Weyl groups, which are characterized by the discrete analog of the canonical commutation relation. Moreover, their symmetry groups are subgroups of the Clifford groups. In particular, we prove that the SIC in dimension 2, the Hesse SIC in dimension 3, and the set of Hoggar lines in dimension 8 are the only three SICs up to unitary equivalence whose symmetry groups act transitively on pairs of SIC projectors. Our work not only provides valuable insight about SICs, Heisenberg–Weyl groups, and Clifford groups, but also offers a new approach and perspective for studying many other discrete symmetric structures behind finite state quantum mechanics, such as mutually unbiased bases and discrete Wigner functions.  相似文献

We present a new method to investigate the two-dimensional free-boundary groundwater seepage from symmetric soil channels into a homogeneous isotropic porous medium. We use Levi–Civitá’s function to construct an integral representation for the conformal mapping of the complex potential domain onto the physical flow domain. A genetic algorithm (GA) is used to calculate the coefficients of the Maclaurin series expansion of Levi–Civitá’s function. The coordinates of the points from the channel contour, calculated by means of the integral representation, must satisfy the analytic equation of the contour. We use this condition to define the objective function of the genetic algorithm. Levi–Civitá’s function is afterwards used to calculate the seepage loss, the free lines, the streamlines, the equipotential lines, the isobars and the velocity field. Abstract

Chemical insults to the developing fetus can lead to growth retardation, malformation, death, and functional deficits. The present study seeks to determine if physicochemical and/or graph theoretical parameters can be used to determine a structure-activity relationship (SAR) for developmental toxicity, and if consistency is observed among the selected features. The biological data utilized consists of a diverse series of compounds evaluated within the Chernoff-Kavlock in vivo mouse assay. Physicochemical parameters calculated correspond to electronic, steric, and transport properties. Graph theoretical parameters calculated include the simple, valence, and kappa indices. Both sets of parameters were independently applied to derive SARs in order to compare the quality of the respective models. Multiple random sampling, without replacement, was utilized to obtain ten training/test partitions. Models were built by linear discriminant analysis, decision trees, and neural networks respectively. Comparisons on identical sets of data were carried out to determine if any of the model building procedures had a significant advantage in terms of predictive performance. Furthermore, comparison of the features selected within and across the model building processes led to the determination of model consistency. Our results indicate that consistent features related to developmental toxicity are observed and that both physicochemical and graph theoretical parameters have equal utility.  相似文献

This work concentrates on extending the utilization of multiple dual mode (MDM) counter‐current chromatography in chiral separations. Two aromatic acids, 2‐(6‐methoxy‐2‐naphthyl)propionic acid (NAP) and 2‐phenylpropionic acid (2‐PPA), were enantioseparated by MDM counter‐current chromatography using hydroxypropyl‐β‐cyclodextrin (HP‐β‐CD) as chiral selector. The two‐phase solvent systems consisting of n‐hexane/ethyl acetate 0.1 mol/L phosphate buffer pH 2.67 containing 0.1 mol/L HP‐β‐CD (7.5:2.5:10 for NAP and 7:3:10 for 2‐PPA, v/v/v) were used. Conventional MDM and modified MDM were compared according to peak resolution under current separation mechanism. The influence of elution time after the first‐phase inversion and number of cycles for MDM were investigated. Peak resolution of NAP and 2‐PPA increased from 0.62 to 1.05 and 0.72 to 0.84, respectively, using optimized MDM conditions. Being an alternative elution method for counter‐current chromatography, MDM elution greatly improved peak resolution in chiral separations.  相似文献
