This paper deals with the exponential synchronization problem for a class of stochastic jumping chaotic neural networks with mixed delays and sector bounded nonlinearities. The mixed time delays under consideration comprise both discrete time-varying delays and distributed time delays. By applying the Finsler’s Lemma and constructing appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional based on delay partitioning, several improved delay-dependent feedback controllers with sector nonlinearities are developed to achieve the synchronization in mean square in terms of linear matrix inequalities. It is established theoretically that two special cases of the obtained criteria are less conservative than some existing results but including fewer slack variables. As the present conditions involve no free weighting matrices, the computational burden is largely reduced. One numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, we present an efficient method of two-grid scheme for the approximation of two-dimensional nonlinear parabolic equations using an expanded mixed finite element method. We use two Newton iterations on the fine grid in our methods. Firstly, we solve an original nonlinear problem on the coarse nonlinear grid, then we use Newton iterations on the fine grid twice. The two-grid idea is from Xu$'$s work [SIAM J. Numer. Anal., 33 (1996), pp. 1759-1777] on standard finite method. We also obtain the error estimates for the algorithms of the two-grid method. It is shown that the algorithm achieves asymptotically optimal approximation rate with the two-grid methods as long as the mesh sizes satisfy $h=\mathcal{O}(H^{(4k+1)/(k+1)})$.  相似文献

We prove non-commutative versions of Wiener's Lemma on absolutely convergent Fourier series (a) for the case of twisted convolution and (b) for rotation algebras. As an application we solve some open problems about Gabor frames, among them the problem of Feichtinger and Janssen that is known in the literature as the ``irrational case'.

Using a strong version of the Curve Selection Lemma for real semianalytic sets, we prove that for an arbitrary connected Lie group G, each connected component of the set E_n(G)of all elements of order n in G is a conjugacy class in G. In particular, all conjugacy classes of finite order in G are closed. Some properties of connected components of E_n(G) are also given.  相似文献

We prove regularity estimates for entropy solutions to scalar conservation laws with a force. Based on the kinetic form of a scalar conservation law, a new decomposition of entropy solutions is introduced, by means of a decomposition in the velocity variable, adapted to the non-degeneracy properties of the flux function. This allows a finer control of the degeneracy behavior of the flux. In addition, this decomposition allows to make use of the fact that the entropy dissipation measure has locally finite singular moments. Based on these observations, improved regularity estimates for entropy solutions to (forced) scalar conservation laws are obtained.  相似文献

For f(x) ∈ C1(Ω)\{0}, we show that there exists a constant μ* 0 such that the problem possessesat least two positive solutions if μ∈(0, μ*) and at least one positive solution if μ = μ*.
