Indecomposable Representations of the Square—Root Lie Algebras of Vector Type and Their Boson Realizations

The explicit expressions for indecomposable representations of nine square-root Lie algebras of vector type, R_νλ (ν, λ=0, ±1), are obtained on the space of universal enveloping algebra of two-state Heisenberg-Weyl algebra, the invariant subspaces and the quotient spaces. From Fock representations corresponding to these indecomposable representations, the inhomogeneous boson realizations of R_νλ are given. The expectation values of R_νλ in the angular momentum coherent states are calculated as well as the corresponding classical limits.

Minimal ranks of some quaternion matrix expressions with applications

Suppose that p(X, Y) = A − BX − X^(∗)B^(∗) − CYC^(∗) and q(X, Y) = A − BX + X^(∗)B^(∗) − CYC^(∗) are quaternion matrix expressions, where A is persymmetric or perskew-symmetric. We in this paper derive the minimal rank formula of p(X, Y) with respect to pair of matrices X and Y = Y^(∗), and the minimal rank formula of q(X, Y) with respect to pair of matrices X and Y = −Y^(∗). As applications, we establish some necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the general (persymmetric or perskew-symmetric) solutions to some well-known linear quaternion matrix equations. The expressions are also given for the corresponding general solutions of the matrix equations when the solvability conditions are satisfied. At the same time, some useful consequences are also developed.     

Topologically Irreducible Representations and Radicals in Banach Algebras

It is shown that the topologically irreducible representationsof a normed algebra define a certain topological radical inthe same way that the strictly irreducible representations definethe Jacobson radical and that this radical can be strictly smallerthan the Jacobson radical. An abstract theory of ‘topologicalradicals’ in topological algebras is developed and usedto relate this radical to the Baer radical (prime radical).The relations with topologically transitive representationsand standard representations in the sense of Meyer are alsoexplored. 1991 Mathematics Subject Classification: 46H15, 46H25,16Nxx.     

二值命题逻辑中有限理论带误差结论集的结构

二值命题逻辑系统中理论Г的带误差结论集是近似推理研究的基本对象,对其结构进行分析是近似推理研究中需要解决的问题。通过公式是有限理论Г的带误差结论的充要条件,利用集合划分方法,对有限理论Г的带误差结论集分别基于真度相等关系和逻辑等价关系进行分类,得到了基于两类等价关系的包含等价类个数和代表元表示形式的分类定理,进一步体现了二值命题逻辑系统近似推理研究中理论Г的带误差结论集的特征。

定义了H~2×R中曲面的法高斯映照,给出了给定平均曲率曲面的Weierstrass表示,证明了法高斯映照满足一个二阶偏微分方程,并且该方程是所得到的Weierstrass表示的完全可积条件.     

Two-Mode Wigner Operator in 〈ξ| Representation and 〈τ| Representation

We derive the two-mode Wigner operator in the 〈ξ| representation and 〈τ| representation, where |ξ〉 is common eigenvector of the mass-weighted relative coordinate and the mass-combinatorial momentum.and |τ〉 common eigenvector of the mass-weighted relative coordinate and the mass-combinatorial momentum. As an application,we calculate the Wigner function of some two-mode state.     

Propagation properties of ultrashort chirped pulsed Gaussian beams in the free space

Based on the Rayleigh diffraction integral and complex analytical signal representation, the free-space analytical propagation equation and its Fourier spectrum for ultrashort chirped pulsed Gaussian beams with constant diffraction length are derived. The effect of chirp parameter on the spatiotemporal and spectral properties is illustrated with analytical formulas and numerical calculation results. It is shown that the axial spectra of ultrashort chirped pulsed Gaussian beams become broadened with increasing chirp parameter. For single optical cycle, the transversal intensity distribution is affected by increasing chirp parameter, but almost not affected for several optical cycles. Moreover, the positive or negative sign of the chirp parameter has no effect on the spectral distribution and intensity distribution.     

Hermitian Operators Conjugate to Two-Mode Number-Difference Operator Studied in Entangled State Representation

In similar to the derivation of phase angle operator conjugate to the number operator by Arroyo Carrasco-Moya Cessay we deduce the Hermitian phase operators that are conjugate to the two-mode number-difference operator and the three-mode number combination operator. It is shown that these operators are on the same footing in the entangled state representation as the one of Turski in the coherent state representation.
