Finite p-Groups All of Whose Proper Quotient Groups are Abelian or Inner-Abelian

In this article, finite p-groups all of whose proper quotient groups are abelian or inner-abelian are classified. As a corollary, finite p-group all of whose proper quotient groups are abelian, and finite p-groups all of whose proper sections are abelian or inner-abelian are also classified.     

On SZ°-Ideals in Polynomial Rings

The theory of z-ideals and z°-ideals, especially as pertaining to the ideal theory of C(X), the ring of continuous functions on a completely regular Hausdorff space X, has been attended to during the recent years; see Gillman and Jerison [9 Gillman , L. , Jerison , M. In this article we will consider the theory of z°-ideals as applied to the rings of polynomials over a commutative ring with identity. We introduce and study sz°-ideals (an ideal I of a ring is called sz°-ideal, if whenever S is a finite subset of I, then the intersection of all minimal prime ideals containing S is in I). In addition, we will pay attention to several annihilator conditions and find some new results. 实时三维超声引导 VACORA真空微创穿刺活检系统在乳腺良性疾病微创诊疗中的应用

目的探讨三维超声引导下VACORA真空微创穿刺活检系统在乳腺良性疾病诊疗中的应用价值。方法选取术前诊断为乳腺良性肿块患者103例（223个肿块）,经二维超声引导治疗54例（二维组）,经实时三维超声引导治疗49例（三维组）,记录两组患者肿块容积、手术切除条数、手术耗时、术后血肿发生情况及血肿吸收情况。结果全部肿块均成功引导切除,两组患者手术耗时无明显差异（P＞0.05）,三维组肿块切除条数及术后血肿发生率均明显少于二维组（均P＜0.05）,而且血肿0.16～3.80ml者平均吸收时间均显著明显短于血肿4.7～19.5及25.2～32.0ml者（均P＜0.01）。两组患者术后随访1～12个月均无复发。结论超声引导VACORA真空微创穿刺活检系统适用于体积＜2.4ml乳腺良性肿块的微创切除,实时三维超声引导定位准确、安全、损伤小,是乳腺肿块微创切除的一种有效方法。     

Maximal degeneracy points of GKZ systems

Motivated by mirror symmetry, we study certain integral representations of solutions to the Gel´fand-Kapranov-Zelevinsky (GKZ) hypergeometric system. Some of these solutions arise as period integrals for Calabi-Yau manifolds in mirror symmetry. We prove that for a suitable compactification of the parameter space, there exist certain special boundary points, which we called maximal degeneracy points, at which all solutions but one become singular.

     

On Minimal Extensions of Rings

Given two rings R ? S, S is said to be a minimal ring extension of R, if R is a maximal subring of S. In this article, we study minimal extensions of an arbitrary ring R, with particular focus on those possessing nonzero ideals that intersect R trivially. We will also classify the minimal ring extensions of prime rings, generalizing results of Dobbs, Dobbs &; Shapiro, and Ferrand &; Olivier, on commutative minimal extensions.     

Two characterisations of the minimal triangulations of permutation graphs

A minimal triangulation of a graph is a chordal supergraph with an inclusion-minimal edge set. Minimal triangulations are obtained from adding edges only to minimal separators, completing minimal separators into cliques. Permutation graphs are the comparability graphs whose complements are also comparability graphs. Permutation graphs can be characterised as the intersection graphs of specially arranged line segments in the plane, which is called a permutation diagram. The minimal triangulations of permutation graphs are known to be interval graphs, and they can be obtained from permutation diagrams by applying a geometric operation, that corresponds to the completion of separators into cliques. We precisely specify this geometric completion process to obtain minimal triangulations, and we completely characterise those interval graphs that are minimal triangulations of permutation graphs.     

The hilbert function and the minimal free resolution of some gorenstein ideals of codimension 4

We give a construction for Gorenstein ideals of codimension 4 which we believe have maximal graded Betti numbers for their Hilbert function.     

M x /G/1 Queue with Multiple Vacations

Abstract

In this article, we study a queueing system M ^x /G/1 with multiple vacations. The probability generating function (P.G.F.) of stationary queue length and its expectation expression are deduced by using an embedded Markov chain of the queueing process. The P.G.F. of stationary system busy period and the probability of system in service state and vacation state also are obtained by the same method. At last we deduce the LST and mean of stationary waiting time in the service order FCFS and LCFS, respectively.
