An ordinary plating solution for indium hexacyanoferrate (InHCF) thin film deposition, mainly composed of equal concentrations of In3+ and [Fe(CN)6]3–, usually forms precipitates rapidly when either concentration is higher than few millimolar. This contributes to the plating solution's instability. Moreover, electrodeposited capacities are limited accordingly. In this work, the plating solution's stability and the electrodeposition of InHCF were greatly enhanced by adding a large amount of K+ and/or H+. It was found that a 10-mM plating solution added with 1 M HCl and 1 M KCl could be stored as fresh over a one-week period, whereas an unmodified plating solution became useless within a couple of minutes. Also, such cationic additions, especially adding H+, increased the electrodeposited capacity ca. 18 times at least, as compared with that obtained from the unmodified plating solution. Furthermore, related enhancing mechanisms were proposed and verified. To sum up, this study offers a means for better InHCF electrodeposition and should promote the applications of InHCF films. Bounded terminal conditions of nonlinear optimization problems are converted to equality terminal conditions via the Valentine's device. In so doing, additional unknown parameters are introduced into the problem. The transformed problems can still be easily solved using the sequential gradient-restoration algorithm (SGRA) via a simple augmentation of the unknown parameter vector . Summary The vibronic character of this molecular device has been studied using isomorphic electron orbitals. The leading role of the softest vibrational mode for the electron transport process is stressed by the quantum mechanical treatment of the rearrangement operator. The theory was used to investigate the possible function of the soliton valve, which has been suggested as a switching tip. The electronic flexibility of the cyclopropenyl radical with respect to molecular vibrations, which is important for the function of the molecular device, is well characterized by the hardness and softness of the electron structure in terms of the orbital energy-occupation number correlation diagram.  相似文献

A new soluble polythiophene derivative was synthesized by both chemical and electrochemical oxidative polymerization of 1-4-nitrophenyl-2,5-di(2-thienyl)-1H-pyrrole (SNSNO2). Chemical method produces a polymer which is completely soluble in organic solvents. The structures of both the monomer and the soluble polymer were elucidated by 1H and 13C-NMR and FTIR. The average molecular weight has been determined by GPC to be Mn = 6.3 × 103 for the chemically synthesized polymer. P(SNSNO2) was also synthesized via potentiostatic electrochemical polymerization. Characterizations of the resulting polymer were performed by cyclic voltammetry CV, FTIR and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Four-probe technique was used to measure the conductivities of the samples. Moreover, the spectroelectrochemical and electrochromic properties of the polymer film were investigated. In addition, dual type polymer electrochromic devices ECDs based on P(SNSNO2) with poly3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (PEDOT) were constructed. Spectroelectrochemistry, electrochromic switching and open circuit stability of the devices were studied. They were found to have good switching times, reasonable contrasts and optical memories.  相似文献

Surface roughness has been considered as a passive means of enhancing species mixing in electroosmotic flow through microfluidic systems. It is highly desirable to understand the synergetic effect of three-dimensional (3D) roughness and surface heterogeneity on the electrokinetic flow through microchannels. In this study, we developed a three-dimensional finite-volume-based numerical model to simulate electroosmotic transport in a slit microchannel (formed between two parallel plates) with numerous heterogeneous prismatic roughness elements arranged symmetrically and asymmetrically on the microchannel walls. We consider that all 3D prismatic rough elements have the same surface charge or zeta potential, the substrate (the microchannel wall) surface has a different zeta potential. The results showed that the rough channel's geometry and the electroosmotic mobility ratio of the roughness elements' surface to that of the substrate, epsilon(mu), have a dramatic influence on the induced-pressure field, the electroosmotic flow patterns, and the electroosmotic flow rate in the heterogeneous rough microchannels. The associated sample-species transport presents a tidal-wave-like concentration field at the intersection between four neighboring rough elements under low epsilon(mu) values and has a concentration field similar to that of the smooth channels under high epsilon(mu) values.  相似文献

A star network polymer with a pentaerythritol core linking four PEG-block polymeric arms was synthesized, and its corresponding gel polymer electrolyte based on lithium perchlorate and plasticizers EC/PC with the character being colorless and highly transparent has been also prepared. The polymer host was characterized and confirmed to be of a star network and an amorphous structure by FTIR, ^1H NMR and XRD studies. The polymer host hold good mechanical properties for pentaerythritol cross-linking. Maximum ionic conductivity of the prepared polymer electrolyte has reached 8.83 × 10 ^-4 S·cm^-1 at room temperature. Thermogravimetry (TG) of the polymer electrolyte showed that the thermal stability was up to at least 150 ℃. The gel polymer electrolyte was further evaluated in electrochromic devices fabricated by transparent PET-ITO and electrochromically active viologen derivative films, and its excellent performance promised the usage of the gel polymer electrolyte as ionic conductor material in electrochrornic devices.  相似文献

Single cell analytics for proteomic analysis is considered a key method in the framework of systems nanobiology which allows a novel proteomics without being subjected to ensemble-averaging, cell-cycle, or cell-population effects. We are currently developing a single cell analytical method for protein fingerprinting combining a structured microfluidic device with latest optical laser technology for single cell manipulation (trapping and steering), free-solution electrophoretical protein separation, and (label-free) protein detection. In this paper we report on first results of this novel analytical device focusing on three main issues. First, single biological cells were trapped, injected, steered, and deposited by means of optical tweezers in a poly(dimethylsiloxane) microfluidic device and consecutively lysed with SDS at a predefined position. Second, separation and detection of fluorescent dyes, amino acids, and proteins were achieved with LIF detection in the visible (VIS) (488 nm) as well as in the deep UV (266 nm) spectral range for label-free, native protein detection. Minute concentrations of 100 fM injected fluorescein could be detected in the VIS and a first protein separation and label-free detection could be achieved in the UV spectral range. Third, first analytical experiments with single Sf9 insect cells (Spodoptera frugiperda) in a tailored microfluidic device exhibiting distinct electropherograms of a green fluorescent protein-construct proved the validity of the concept. Thus, the presented microfluidic concept allows novel and fascinating single cell experiments for systems nanobiology in the future.  相似文献
