We study non-linear traces of the Choquet type and the Sugeno type on the algebra of compact operators. They have certain partial additivities. We show that these partial additivities characterize non-linear traces of both the Choquet type and the Sugeno type respectively. There exists a close relation between non-linear traces of the Choquet type and majorization theory. We study trace class operators for non-linear traces of the Choquet type. More generally we discuss Schatten–von Neumann -class operators for non-linear traces of the Choquet type. We determine when they form Banach spaces. This is an attempt at non-commutative integration theory for non-linear traces of the Choquet type on the algebra of compact operators. We also consider the triangle inequality for non-linear traces of the Sugeno type. 相似文献

Cauchon [5] introduced the so-called deleting derivations algorithm. This algorithm was first used in noncommutative algebra to prove catenarity in generic quantum matrices, and then to show that torus-invariant primes in these algebras are generated by quantum minors. Since then this algorithm has been used in various contexts. In particular, the matrix version makes a bridge between torus-invariant primes in generic quantum matrices, torus orbits of symplectic leaves in matrix Poisson varieties and totally non-negative cells in totally non-negative matrix varieties [12]. This led to recent progress in the study of totally non-negative matrices such as new recognition tests [18]. The aim of this article is to develop a Poisson version of the deleting derivations algorithm to study the Poisson spectra of the members of a class 𝒫 of polynomial Poisson algebras. It has recently been shown that the Poisson Dixmier–Moeglin equivalence does not hold for all polynomial Poisson algebras [2]. Our algorithm allows us to prove this equivalence for a significant class of Poisson algebras, when the base field is of characteristic zero. Finally, using our deleting derivations algorithm, we compare topologically spectra of quantum matrices with Poisson spectra of matrix Poisson varieties. 相似文献

The paper consists of a trilogy of high-school teachers solving an algebraic problem while learning to use a Computer Algebra System (CAS) in 1995, 1998, and 2001. The different approaches the teachers used and the ways the symbolic-graphical software influenced their solution process are discussed in terms of theoretical views on “symbol sense,” and regarding the notion of “instrumentation” developed among the CAS-in-education community. Two epistemological perspectives of symbol sense that were involved in the creation of instrumentation schemes were identified: (a) awareness of the special ways that the CAS software utilizes (makes sense of) symbols in algebraic manipulations and in implicit plotting, and (b) the need to make explicit the algebraic interpretations of sophisticated graphs in relation to the context of the problem. Learning mathematics in a technology-rich environment enables us to revive classical topics which have been removed from the curriculum a long time ago. Both theoretical issues and applications can be studied with an experimental process. We present how envelopes of 1-parameter families of plane curves and some of their applications can be presented early in the curriculum either for pre-service teachers or for in-service teachers. This approach may be useful for students in an engineering curriculum. Working with technology yields important effects, such as reviving classical topics, broadening perspectives on already known topics, and enhancing the learner's experimental skills, where conversion between various registers of representation is an important issue. 相似文献
