For a given combinatorial graph G a geometrization (G, g) of the graph is obtained by considering each edge of the graph as a 1-dimensional manifold with an associated metric g. In this paper we are concerned with minimal isometric immersions of geometrized graphs (G, g) into Riemannian manifolds (N

, h). Such immersions we call minimal webs. They admit a natural ‘geometric’ extension of the intrinsic combinatorial discrete Laplacian. The geometric Laplacian on
minimal webs enjoys standard properties such as the maximum principle and the divergence theorems, which are of instrumental
importance for the applications. We apply these properties to show that minimal webs in ambient Riemannian spaces share several
analytic and geometric properties with their smooth (minimal submanifold) counterparts in such spaces. In particular we use
appropriate versions of the divergence theorems together with the comparison techniques for distance functions in Riemannian
geometry and obtain bounds for the first Dirichlet eigenvalues, the exit times and the capacities as well as isoperimetric
type inequalities for so-called extrinsic R-webs of minimal webs in ambient Riemannian manifolds with bounded curvature.

We give some necessary and sufficient conditions which completely characterize the strong and total Lagrange duality, respectively, for convex optimization problems in separated locally convex spaces. We also prove similar statements for the problems obtained by perturbing the objective functions of the primal problems by arbitrary linear functionals. In the particular case when we deal with convex optimization problems having infinitely many convex inequalities as constraints the conditions we work with turn into the so-called Farkas-Minkowski and locally Farkas-Minkowski conditions for systems of convex inequalities, recently used in the literature. An analytical method is presented to study the non-linear buckling characteristic of rectangular local delamination near the surface of fiber-reinforced piezoelectric lamination shells under coupled mechanical and electric loads. The stacking sequence of fiber reinforced lamination shells with piezoelectric layers is considered as symmetry, but the stacking sequence of rectangular local delamination sub-shells is arbitrary. Based on the nonlinear displacement mode of delaminated sub-shells, the effects of electric fields, the geometrical, physical parameters and stacking sequences of piezoelectric laminated shells on the non-linear local buckling for rectangular delamination near the surface of piezoelectric laminated base-shells are solved. 相似文献

We study Schauder frames in Fréchet spaces and their duals, as well as perturbation results. We define shrinking and boundedly complete Schauder frames on a locally convex space, study the duality of these two concepts and their relation with the reflexivity of the space. We characterize when an unconditional Schauder frame is shrinking or boundedly complete in terms of properties of the space. We discuss various notions generalizing the concept of a homogeneous space to the setting of locally compact quantum groups. On the von Neumann algebra level we recall an interesting duality for such objects studied earlier by M. Izumi, R. Longo, S. Popa for compact Kac algebras and by M. Enock in the general case of locally compact quantum groups. A definition of a quantum homogeneous space is proposed along the lines of the pioneering work of Vaes on induction and imprimitivity for locally compact quantum groups. The concept of an embeddable quantum homogeneous space is selected and discussed in detail as it seems to be the natural candidate for the quantum analog of classical homogeneous spaces. Among various examples we single out the quantum analog of the quotient of the Cartesian product of a quantum group with itself by the diagonal subgroup, analogs of quotients by compact subgroups as well as quantum analogs of trivial principal bundles. The former turns out to be an interesting application of the duality mentioned above. 相似文献
