The present paper focuses on the analysis of two- and three-dimensional flow past a circular cylinder in different laminar flow regimes. In this simulation, an implicit pressure-based finite volume method is used for time-accurate computation of incompressible flow using second order accurate convective flux discretisation schemes. The computation results are validated against measurement data for mean surface pressure, skin friction coefficients, the size and strength of the recirculating wake for the steady flow regime and also for the Strouhal frequency of vortex shedding and the mean and RMS amplitude of the fluctuating aerodynamic coefficients for the unsteady periodic flow regime. The complex three dimensional flow structure of the cylinder wake is also reasonably captured by the present prediction procedure. 相似文献

In a real production and distribution business environment with one supplier and multiple heterogeneous buyers, the differences
in buyers’ ordering cycles have influence on production arrangements. Consequently, the average inventory level (AIL) at the
supplier’s end is affected by both the production policy and the ordering policy, typically by the scheduling of deliveries.
Consequently, the average inventory holding cost is most deeply affected. In this paper, it is proposed that the scheduling
of deliveries be formulated as a decision problem to determine the time point at which deliveries are made to buyers in order
to minimize the supplier’s average inventory. A formulation of the average inventory level (AIL) in a production cycle at
the supplier’s end using a lot-for-lot policy is developed. Under the lot-for-lot policy, the scheduling of deliveries (SP) is formulated as a nonlinear programming model used to determine the first delivery point for each buyer with an objective
to minimize the sum of the product of the individual demand quantity and the first delivery time for each buyer. Thus, the
SP model determines not only the sequence of the first deliveries to individual buyers, but also the time when the deliveries

It is applied the interpolation procedure to calculate the stationary probability distribution of colored-gain-noise model of a single-mode dye laser which operates above threshold with correlation time τ covering a very wide rang. By use of Stochastic Runge-Kutta Algorithm, it also has carried out numerical simulations of the steady-state properties. We study the fate of the Onsager-Casimir reciprocity relations for a continuous system when some of its variables are eliminated adiabatically. Just as for discrete systems, deviations appear in correction terms to the reduced evolution equation that are of higher order in the time scale ratio. The deviations are not removed by including correction terms to the coarse-grained thermodynamic potential. However, via a reformulation of the theory, in which the central role of the thermodynamic potential is taken over by an associated Lagrangian-type expression, we arrive at a modified form of the Onsager-Casimir relations that survives the adiabatic elimination procedure. There is a simple relation between the time evolution of the redefined thermodynamic forces and that of the basic thermodynamic variables; this relation also survives the adiabatic elimination. The formalism is illustrated by explicit calculations for the Klein-Kramers equation, which describes the phase space distribution of Brownian particles, and for the corrected Smoluchowski equation derived from it by adiabatic elimination of the velocity variable. The symmetry relation for the latter leads to a simple proof that the reality of the eigenvalues of the simple Smoluchowski equation is not destroyed by the addition of higher order corrections, at least not within the framework of a formal perturbation expansion in the time scale ratio. 相似文献

A simple and rapid HPLC method using fluorescence detection was developed for determination of irbesartan in human plasma. Sample preparation was accomplished through a simple deproteinization procedure with 0.4 mL of acetonitrile containing 800 ng/mL of losartan (internal standard), and to a 0.1 mL plasma sample. Chromatographic separation was performed on a Zorbax Xclipse XDB C18 column (150 × 4.6 mm, i.d., 5 µm) at 40°C. An isocratic mobile phase, acetonitrile:0.1% formic acid (37:63, v/v), was run at a flow‐rate of 1.0 mL/min, and the column eluent was monitored using a fluorescence detector set at excitation and emission wavelengths of 250 and 370 nm, respectively. The retention times of irbesartan and losartan were 4.4 and 5.9 min, respectively. This assay was linear over a concentration range of 10–5000 ng/mL with a lower limit of quantification of 10 ng/mL. The coefficient of variation for this assay precision was less than 8.48%, and the accuracy exceeded 94.4%. The mean relative recoveries of irbesartan and losartan were 98.4 and 99.1%, respectively. A new procedure called ‘source generation’ is applied to the pfaffianized KP equation. As a result, the pfaffianized-KP equation with self-consistent sources (ESCS) is obtained. This coupled system cannot only be reduced to the pfaffianized KP equation, but also reduced to the KP equation with self-consistent sources (KPESCS). So the pfaffianized-KP ESCS can be viewed as a pfaffian version of the KPESCS, which indicates the commutativity of the ‘source generation’ procedure and pfaffianization. 相似文献

This paper is concerned with a new improved formulation of the theoretical model previously developed by Benamar et al. based on Hamilton's principle and spectral analysis, for the geometrically non-linear vibrations of thin structures. The problem is reduced to a non-linear algebraic system, the solution of which leads to determination of the amplitude-dependent fundamental non-linear mode shapes, the frequency parameters, and the non-linear stress distributions. The cases of C-S-C-S and C-S-S-S rectangular plates are examined, and the results obtained are in a good qualitative and quantitative agreement with the previous available works, based on various methods. In order to obtain explicit analytical solutions for the first non-linear mode shapes of C-S-C-S RP2 and C-S-S-S RP, which are expected to be very useful in engineering applications and in further analytical developments, the improved version of the semi-analytical model developed by El Kadiri et al. For beams and fully clamped rectangular plates, has been slightly modified, and adapted to the above cases, leading to explicit expressions for the higher basic function contributions, which are shown to be in a good agreement with the iterative solutions, for maximum non-dimensional vibration amplitude values up to 0.75 and 0.6 for the first non-linear mode shapes of C-S-C-S RP and C-S-S-S RP, respectively. 相似文献
