Carleman estimates and unique continuation property for the anisotropic differential-operator equations

The unique continuation theorems for the anisotropic partial differential-operator equations with variable coeffcients in Banach-valued Lp-spaces are studied.To obtain the uniform maximal regularity and the Carleman type estimates for parameter depended differential-operator equations,the suffcient conditions are founded.By using these facts,the unique continuation properties are established.In the application part,the unique continuation properties and Carleman estimates for finite or infinite systems of quasielliptic partial differential equations are studied.     

The asymptotic behaviour of weak solutions to the forward problem of electrical impedance tomography on unbounded three‐dimensional domains

The forward problem of electrical impedance tomography on unbounded domains can be studied by introducing appropriate function spaces for this setting. High-Order Leap-Frog Based Discontinuous Galerkin Method for the Time-Domain Maxwell Equations on Non-Conforming Simplicial Meshes

A high-order leap-flog based non-dissipative discontinuous Galerkin timedomain method for solving Maxwell's equations is introduced and analyzed. The proposed method combines a centered approximation for the evaluation of fluxes at the interface between neighboring elements, with a Nth-order leap-frog time scheme. Moreover, the interpolation degree is defined at the element level and the mesh is refined locally in a non-conforming way resulting in arbitrary level hanging nodes. The method is proved to be stable under some CFL-like condition on the time step. The convergence of the semi-discrete approximation to Maxwell's equations is established rigorously and bounds on the global divergence error are provided. Numerical experiments with highorder elements show the potential of the method.     

The steady Navier–Stokes/energy system with temperature‐dependent viscosity—Part 1: Analysis of the continuous problem

In this first part we propose and analyse a model for the study of two‐dimensional incompressible Navier–Stokes equations with a temperature‐dependent viscosity. The flow is supposed in a mixed convection regime and considers an outflow region, leading to a strongly coupled problem between the Navier–Stokes and energy equations, which will be justified theoretically. The coupling in the continuous problem is treated by an outer temperature fixed point strategy. Existence results for a particular variational formulation follows from this study. 求解非线性方程组的L-M方法

本文研究了求解奇异非线性方程组的Levenberg-Marquardt方法的收敛性.利用选取新的迭代参数求解非线性方程组的L-M方法,获得点列的超线性收敛性和二阶收敛性,并把试验结果与文献[19,20]的结果进行了比较.     

Comment on the paper: “Forced oscillation of certain neutral hyperbolic equations with continuous distributed deviating arguments” [Math. Comput. Modeling 49 (2009) 1211–1220]

In recent years, many results on oscillation criteria of second-order nonlinear neutral delay differential equations with distributed deviating argument have been obtained, but some of these criteria are incorrect due to a mistake in a crucial auxiliary result. We give two counterexamples.

研究了一类二阶非线性泛函微分方程解的振动性质.在一定条件下,应用分类讨论和分析的方法,建立了一个新的振动性定理,推广和改进了已知的结果.     

Banach空间中N阶脉冲积分-微分方程边值问题的解

运用Monch不动点定理，获得了Banach空间中一类N阶非线性混合型脉冲积分-微分方程边值问题解的存在性．最后给出一个三阶无穷脉冲积分-微分方程边值问题的例子来说明文中所给的条件是合理的．     

Chiral Potts model as a descendant of the six-vertex model

We observe that theN-state integrable chiral Potts model can be considered as a part of some new algebraic structure related to the six-vertex model. As a result, we obtain a functional equation which is supposed to determine all the eigenvalues of the chiral Potts model transfer matrix.     

Unstructured-grid finite-volume discretization of the Navier-Stokes equations based on high-resolution difference schemes

An unstructured-grid discretization of the Navier-Stokes equations based on the finite volume method and high-resolution difference schemes in time and space is described as applied to fluid dynamics problems in two and three dimensions. The control volume is defined as the cell-vertex median dual control volume. The fluxes through the faces of internal and boundary control volumes are written identically, which simplifies their software implementation. The gradient and the pseudo-Laplacian are calculated at the midpoint of a control volume face by using relations adapted to the computations on a strongly stretched grid in the boundary layer.
