On the role of heterogeneous and imperfect information in a laboratory financial market

In this paper, we analyze the behavior of a group of heterogeneously informed investors in an laboratory asset market. Our experimental setting is inspired by Huber et al. (On the benefit of information in markets with heterogeneously informed traders: an experimental study, 2004). However, instead of their system of cumulative and exogenously given information structure, we introduce an information market where the traders can buy an imperfect prediction of the future value of the dividend with a maximum anticipation of four periods. The accuracy of the prediction decreases with the chosen time horizon, whereas its price remains constant. Our results confirm a non-strictly monotonic increasing value of the information.

We prove the iteration lemmata, which are the key lemmata to show that extensions by Pmax variations satisfy absoluteness for Π₂-statements in the structure 〈H (ω ₂), ∈, NS_{ω 1}, R 〉 for some set R of reals in L (ℝ), for the following statements: (1) The cofinality of the null ideal is ℵ₁. Optimal reconstruction of the solution of the wave equation from inaccurate initial data

In the present paper, we consider the problem of the optimal reconstruction of the solution of the wave equation from the approximate values of the Fourier coefficients of the function specifying the initial form of the string. For an operator defined on the weight space of vectors from l ₂, we present the solution of the more general problem of reconstruction from the approximate values of the coordinates of these vectors.     

On inequalities of Lieb-Thirring type

Applying the method proposed by Kashin for proving inequalities of Lieb-Thirring type for orthonormal systems, we prove a similar inequality in the multidimensional case.     

THE DIMENSION FOR RANDOM SUB-SELF-SIMILAR SET

In this article,the Hausdorff dimension and exact Hausdorff measure function of any random sub-self-similar set are obtained under some reasonable conditions.Several examples are given at the end.     

波长检测技术在温度测量中的应用

提出一种波长检测技术实现温度测量的方法,利用FBG传感器对温度等物理量实施监测,具有测试精度高,应用场合不受限制等特点,当环境参数发生变化时,光纤光栅的有效折射率和光栅周期会受到影响,将引起光纤光栅峰值波长的偏移,依据反射光谱结构的变化,可知道其温度的变化趋势。实验测试结果表明,在温度变化0.1°,波长变化1pm,温度和波长具有良好的线性关系。     

Generalized Physical and SRB Measures for Hyperbolic Diffeomorphisms

In this paper we introduce the notion of generalized physical and SRB measures. These measures naturally generalize classical physical and SRB measures to measures which are supported on invariant sets that are not necessarily attractors. We then perform a detailed case study of these measures for hyperbolic Hènon maps. For this class of systems we are able to develop a complete theory about the existence, uniqueness, finiteness, and properties of these natural measures. Moreover, we derive a classification for the existence of a measure of full dimension. We also consider general hyperbolic surface diffeomorphisms and discuss possible extensions of, as well as the differences to, the results for Hènon maps. Finally, we study the regular dependence of the dimension of the generalized physical/SRB measure on the diffeomorphism. For the proofs we apply various techniques from smooth ergodic theory including the thermodynamic formalism. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification. Route stability in vehicle routing decisions: a bi-objective approach using metaheuristics

In this paper, we argue that vehicle routing solutions are often tactical decisions, that should not be changed too often or too much. For marketing or other reasons, vehicle routing solutions should be stable, i.e. a new solution (when e.g. new customers require service) should be as similar as possible to a solution already in use. Simultaneously however, this new solution should still have a good quality in the traditional sense (e.g. small total travel cost). In this paper, we develop a way to measure the difference between two vehicle routing solutions. We use this distance measure to create a metaheuristic approach that will find solutions that are “close” (in the solution space) to a given baseline solution and at the same time have a high quality in the sense that their total distance traveled is small. By using this approach, the dispatcher is offered a choice of Pareto-optimal solutions, allowing him to make a trade-off between changing his existing solution and allowing a longer travel distance. Some experiments are performed to show the effectiveness of the approach.
