本文主要研究一类复线性微分方程的整函数解的导数的Julia集的径向分布.在适当条件下,本文证明这类复微分方程的整函数解及其导数的Julia集具有相似的径向分布,并找到了它们的下界,从而改进了最近的一些相关结果.

On biaccessible points in the Julia set of a Cremer quadratic polynomial

We prove that the only possible biaccessible points in the Julia set of a Cremer quadratic polynomial are the Cremer fixed point and its preimages. This gives a partial answer to a question posed by C. McMullen on whether such a Julia set can contain any biaccessible point at all.

     

Locally connected models for Julia sets

Let P be a polynomial with a connected Julia set J. We use continuum theory to show that it admits a finest monotone map φ onto a locally connected continuumJP_∼, i.e. a monotone map φ:J→JP_∼ such that for any other monotone map ψ:J→J^′ there exists a monotone map h with ψ=h°φ. Then we extend φ onto the complex plane C (keeping the same notation) and show that φ monotonically semiconjugates PC_| to a topological polynomialg:C→C. If P does not have Siegel or Cremer periodic points this gives an alternative proof of Kiwi's fundamental results on locally connected models of dynamics on the Julia sets, but the results hold for all polynomials with connected Julia sets. We also give a characterization and a useful sufficient condition for the map φ not to collapse all of J into a point.     

Total synthesis of the alkaloid (−)-codonopsinine from l-xylose

The enantiopure total synthesis of (−)-codonopsinine is described from commercially available l-xylose in 20% overall yield. The key steps included Julia trans olefination and cascade epoxidation-cyclisation strategies.     

Controlling influences in bisspiroketal formation: synthesis of the ABC ring system of azaspiracid

Substitution effects on the stereochemical outcome of bisspiroketalization on the C₁-C₁₇ carbon backbone of azaspiracid is presented. A possible explanation is offered to explain the observed stereochemical outcome.     

Chaotic polynomials on Banach spaces

We show the existence of chaotic (in the sense of Devaney) polynomials on Banach spaces of q-summable sequences. Such polynomials P consist of composition of the backward shift with a certain fixed polynomial p of one complex variable on each coordinate. In general we also prove that P is chaotic in the sense of Auslander and Yorke if and only if 0 belongs to the Julia set of p.     

关于H.Yoshida的一个问题

H.Yoshida曾经提出下述问题:对级小于1/2的整函数f（z）,是否自原点出发的每一条射线,或者为它的Julia方向,或者在包含该射线的某个角域内当|z|→∞时有|f（z）|→∞.本文的结论表明对正则增长的整函数,H.Yoshida问题的答案是肯定的,而且对许多其他的Julia型方向,类似的问题的答案也是肯定的.
