On the multidimensional distribution of the subset sum generator of pseudorandom numbers

We show that for a random choice of the parameters, the subset sum pseudorandom number generator produces a sequence of uniformly and independently distributed pseudorandom numbers. The result can be useful for both cryptographic and quasi-Monte Carlo applications and relies on bounds of exponential sums.

     

Duality Theory in Fuzzy Linear Programming Problems with Fuzzy Coefficients

The concept of fuzzy scalar (inner) product that will be used in the fuzzy objective and inequality constraints of the fuzzy primal and dual linear programming problems with fuzzy coefficients is proposed in this paper. We also introduce a solution concept that is essentially similar to the notion of Pareto optimal solution in the multiobjective programming problems by imposing a partial ordering on the set of all fuzzy numbers. We then prove the weak and strong duality theorems for fuzzy linear programming problems with fuzzy coefficients.     

Probabilistic Analysis of Condition Numbers for Linear Programming

In this paper, we provide bounds for the expected value of the log of the condition number C(A) of a linear feasibility problem given by a n × m matrix A (Ref. 1). We show that this expected value is O(min{n, m log n}) if n > m and is O(log n) otherwise. A similar bound applies for the log of the condition number C _R(A) introduced by Renegar (Ref. 2).     

Ranking Functions Induced by Weighted Average of Fuzzy Numbers

In this paper we present two definitions of possibilistic weighted average of fuzzy numbers, and by them we introduce two different rankings on the set of real fuzzy numbers. The two methods are dependent on several parameters. In the first case, the parameter is constant and the results generalize what Carlsson and Fuller have obtained in (2001). In the second case, the parameter is a function, not fixed a priori by the decision maker, but it depends on the position of the interval on the real axe. In all the two cases we call the parameter degree of risk, which takes into account of a risk-tendency or aversion of the decision maker.

本文证明了Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间值鞅的一些不等式，讨论了Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间的凸性及光滑性与某些鞅不等的式的联系，给出了Ｈｉｌｂｅｒｔ空间的一个鞅不等式刻划，同时还讨论了一致Ｐ光滑空间中鞅的弱大数定律，本文的结论推广与改进了很多熟知的定理。     

Riemann Zeta函数的六阶和

利用概率论与组合数学的方法,研究了与Riemann-zeta函数ξ(k)的部分和ξ_n(k)有关的一些级数,计算出了一些重要的和式．特别的,Euler的著名结果5ξ(4)= 2ξ~2(2)能够从四阶和式直接推出．因此,通过计算全部的11个六阶和式,研究它们之间的非平凡关系,就有可能得到ξ(3)的数值．     

The categoricity of the group of all computable automorphisms of the rational numbers

We prove that there is a first-order sentence ϕ such that the group of all computable automorphisms of the ordering of the rational numbers is its only model among the groups that are embeddable in the group of all computable permutations. Asymptotics in the Baum—Katz formula for random fields

In 1996, D. Deng established an analog of the Baum—Katz theorem on the convergence rate in the law of large numbers for multi-indexed random variables. The series describing the convergence rate depends, in a natural way, on the parameter characterizing the excess of the normalized sums over some level. In this paper, we find the precise asymptotics of the sum of this series with respect to the above-mentioned parameter. Thus, a generalization of a recent result due to A. Gut and A. Spataru is obtained.     

Quadratic transformations and Guillera’s formulas for 1/π2

We prove two new series of Ramanujan type for 1/π².     

用^60Co放射源检测油垢厚度的初步实验研究

本文用石蜡模拟油垢，用^60Co放射源的1．25MeV平均能量的γ射线垂直入射，以一定的散射角和不同的探测立体角接收散射γ光子敫．发现散射γ计数与被测石蜡厚度之间存在不同的线性关系．结果发现，放射源与探测器之间屏蔽的好坏和合理的探测距离对提高线性度有很大关系．本实验测得最佳线性相关系数平方值为0．9981，平均测量精度为1．26mm．这对研究散射法检测油垢厚度和选择合适的探测距离提供了实验基础．
