The effect of a pseudo Aharonov-Bohm (AB) magnetic field generated by a disclination on a two-dimensional electron gas in graphene is addressed in the continuum limit within the geometric approach. The influence of the coupling between the spinor fields and the singular conical curvature is investigated, which shows that singularities have pronounced impact in the Hall conductivity. Moreover, the degeneracy related to the Dirac valleys is broken for negative values of the angular momentum quantum numbers, l, includingl ≡ 0. In this case, a Hall plateau develops at the null filling factor. Obtaining the Hall conductivity by summing over the positive and the negative l's, the null Landau level is recovered and the plateau at the null filling factor disappears. In any case, the standard plateaus, which are seen in a flat graphene are not obtained with these curvature and singular effects.  相似文献

The objective of this paper is to present an extension of the Lagrangian Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method to solve three-dimensional shell-like structures undergoing large deformations. The present method is an enhancement of the classical stabilized SPH commonly used for 3D continua, by introducing a Reissner–Mindlin shell formulation, allowing the modeling of moderately thin structure using only one layer of particles in the shell mid-surface. The proposed Shell-based SPH method is efficient and very fast compared to the classical continuum SPH method. The Total Lagrangian Formulation valid for large deformations is adopted using a strong formulation of the differential equilibrium equations based on the principle of collocation. The resulting non-linear dynamic problem is solved incrementally using the explicit time integration scheme, suited to highly dynamic applications. To validate the reliability and accuracy of the proposed Shell-based SPH method in solving shell-like structure problems, several numerical applications including geometrically non-linear behavior are performed and the results are compared with analytical solutions when available and also with numerical reference solutions available in the literature or obtained using the Finite Element method by means of ABAQUS© commercial software.  相似文献

A Model of Arterial Adaptation to Alterations in Blood Flow   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
Mechanisms of arterial adaptation to changes in blood flow rates were tested by comparing the predictions of a proposed theoretical model with available experimental data. The artery was modeled as an elastic membrane made of a nonlinear, incompressible, elastic material. Stimulation of the vascular smooth muscle was modeled through the generation of an active component of circumferential stress. The muscular tone was modulated by flow-induced shear stress sensed by the arterial endothelium, and is responsible for the vasomotor adjustment of the deformed arterial diameter in response to changes in blood flow. This study addresses the hypothesis that the synthetic and proliferative activity of smooth muscle cells, leading to a change in arterial dimensions, is shear stress dependent and is associated with changes in the contractile state of the smooth muscle cells and changes in the circumferential wall stress. Remodeling to a step change in flow was formulated as an initial-value problem for a system of first order autonomous differential equations for the evolution of muscular tone and evolution of arterial geometry. The governing equations were solved numerically for model parameters identified from experimental data available in the literature. The model predictions for the time variation of the geometrical dimensions and their asymptotic values were found to be in qualitative agreement with available experimental data. Experiments for validating the introduced hypotheses and further generalizations of the model were discussed. Summary : The present paper is concerned with the modelling and the simulation of hygrothermal deformation of composite laminates. The temperature and moisture fields are established by employing the Fick's law for transient and cyclical environmental conditions, then the Classical Plate Theory (CLT) adapted for taking into account such conditions is applied. The hygrothermoelastic law of the composite is supposed to be constant but the diffusion coefficients depend on the temperature. The paper shows the ability of the model to handle complex environmental loading, close to service conditions. Finally, a model of plate with moderate rotations is introduced to predict the nonlinear deformations of unsymmetric plates under temperature and moisture cycling conditions.  相似文献

The analysis of mechanical structures using the Finite Element Method in the framework of large elastoplastic strain, needs frequent remeshing of the deformed domain during computation. Indeed, the remeshing is due to the large geometrical distortion of finite elements and the adaptation to the physical behavior of the solution. This paper gives the necessary steps to remesh a mechanical structure during large elastoplastic deformations with damage. An important part of this process is constituted by geometrical and physical error estimates. In this paper, we introduce the concept of topological hypergroups as a generalization of topological groups. A topological hypergroup is a nonempty set endowed with two structures, that of a topological space and that of a hypergroup. Let (H, ○) be a hypergroup and (H, τ) be a topological space such that the mappings (x, y) → xy and (x, y) → x/y from H × H to 𝒫*(H) are continuous. The main tool to obtain basic properties of hypergroups is the fundamental relation β*. So, by considering the quotient topology induced by the fundamental relation on a hypergroup (H, ○) we show that if every open subset of H is a complete part, then the fundamental group of H is a topological group.

It is important to mention that in this paper the topological hypergroups are different from topological hypergroups which was initiated by Dunkl and Jewett.  相似文献

We extend the central limit theorem for additive functionals of a stationary, ergodic Markov chain with normal transition operator due to Gordin and Lif?ic, 1981 [A remark about a Markov process with normal transition operator, In: Third Vilnius Conference on Probability and Statistics 1, pp. 147–48] to continuous-time Markov processes with normal generators. In this paper we study the properties of the r–deformation introduced in [B1]. We observe that the associated convolution coming from the conditionally free convolution is associative only for r = 1 and r = 0. We give the realization of some r–Gaussian random variables and obtain Haagerup–Pisier–Buchholz type inequalities. We also study another convolution defined with the use of the r–deformation through a moment–cumulant formula [KY1] and show that it is associative and in general not positive.
