We consider percolation on the Voronoi tessellation generated by a homogeneous Poisson point process on the hyperbolic plane. We show that the critical probability for the existence of an infinite cluster tends to 1/2 as the intensity of the Poisson process tends to infinity. New equations are derived and implemented for efficient and accurate computation of solvation energy derivatives for the conductor-like polarizable continuum model (C-PCM) and the isotropic integral equation formalism polarizable continuum model (IEF-PCM). Two new molecular surface tessellation procedures GEPOL-RT and GEPOL-AS that generate near continuous potential energy surfaces are proposed for PCM geometry optimization. The combined use of these new techniques leads to efficient and convergent geometry optimizations with the PCMs.  相似文献

An efficient numerical method based on quintic nonpolynomial spline basis and high order finite difference approximations has been presented. The scheme deals with the space containing hyperbolic and polynomial functions as spline basis. With the help of spline functions we derive consistency conditions and high order discretizations of the differential equation with the significant first order derivative. The error analysis of the new method is discussed briefly. The new method is analyzed for its efficiency using the physical problems. The order and accuracy of the proposed method have been analyzed in terms of maximum errors and root mean square errors.  相似文献

The Hopf map from minimal surfaces in H 3 to holomorphic quadratic differentials on H 2 is considered. Whether or not a given quadratic differential is in the image of this map is determined by the global existence/non-existence of solutions to a certain quasi-linear PDE. The paper deals with homogeneous random planar tessellations stable under iteration (random STIT tessellations). The length distribution of the typical I-segment is already known in the isotropic case [8]. In the present paper, the anisotropic case is treated. Then also the direction of the typical I-segment is of interest. The joint distribution of direction and length of the typical I-segment is evaluated.
