The generalized Roper-Suffridge extension operator Ф(f) on the bounded complete Reinhardt domain Ω in Cn with n ≥ 2 is defined by Φrn,β2,γ2,…,βn,γn(f)(z)=(rf(z1/r),(rf(z1/r)/z1)β2(f'(z1/r))γ2z2,…,(rf(z1/r)/z1)βn(f'(z1/r)γnzn) for (z1,z2,…,zn) ∈Ω, where r = r(Ω) = sup{|z1| (z1,z2,…,zn) ∈ Ω},0 ≤ γj ≤ 1 -βj,0 ≤ βj ≤ 1,and we choose the branch of the power functions such that (f(z1)/z1)βj |z1=0 = 1 and (f′(z1))γj |z1=0 =1,j = 2,…,n. In this paper, we prove that the operator Фrn,β2,γ2,…,βn,γn(f) is from the subset of S*α(U) to S*α(Ω)(0 ≤ α ＜ 1) on Ω and the operator Фrn,β2,γ2,…, βn,γn(f) preserves the starlikeness of order α or the spirallikeness of type β on Dp for some suitable constantsβj,γj,pj, where Dp ={(z1,z2,…,zn) ∈ Cn ∑nj=1|zj|pj ＜ 1} (pj ＞ 0, j = 1,2,…,n), U is the unit disc in the complex plane C, and Sα* (Ω) is the class of all normalized starlike mappings of order α on Ω. We also obtain that Φrn,β2,γ2,…,γn(f) ∈ S*α(Dp) if and only if f ∈ S*a(U) for 0 ≤ α ＜ 1 and some suitable constants βj,γj,pj.     

On graphs with exactly one anti-adjacency eigenvalue and beyond

The anti-adjacency matrix of a graph is constructed from the distance matrix of a graph by keeping each row and each column only the largest distances. This matrix can be interpreted as the opposite of the adjacency matrix, which is instead constructed from the distance matrix of a graph by keeping in each row and each column only the distances equal to 1. The (anti-)adjacency eigenvalues of a graph are those of its (anti-)adjacency matrix. Employing a novel technique introduced by Haemers (2019) [9], we characterize all connected graphs with exactly one positive anti-adjacency eigenvalue, which is an analog of Smith's classical result that a connected graph has exactly one positive adjacency eigenvalue iff it is a complete multipartite graph. On this basis, we identify the connected graphs with all but at most two anti-adjacency eigenvalues equal to ?2 and 0. Moreover, for the anti-adjacency matrix we determine the HL-index of graphs with exactly one positive anti-adjacency eigenvalue, where the HL-index measures how large in absolute value may be the median eigenvalues of a graph. We finally propose some problems for further study.     

Nontriviality of the first Hochschild cohomology of some block algebras of finite groups

We show that for some finite group block algebras, with nontrivial defect groups, the first Hochschild cohomology is nontrivial. Along the way we obtain methods to investigate the nontriviality of the first Hochschild cohomology of some twisted group algebras.

设X_i是无穷维复Banach空间, L(X_j,X_i)是X_j到X_i上的有界线性算子全体.考虑 n × n 上三角算子矩阵T=(T_ij)_1≤j≤n, 其中T_ij L(X_j,X_i),1≤j≤n; T_ij=0, i>j.本文研究了T的单值扩张性, 通过考察集合S(T)={λ∈C}: T在点λ没有SVEP},证明了S(T)在i=1 ? nS(T_i)中退化,进而给出等式S(T)=i=1 ? n S(T_i)成立的条件. 同时, 考察了T的单值扩张性扰动,得到了S(T)保持对角稳定时T_i所需的条件并予以证明, 同时举例说明这些条件的合理性.最后, 给出单值扩张性关于谱σ(T)和局部谱σT (x)的应用, 得到了谱扰动和局部谱扰动不变的新条件.     

平面坡体渐进破坏模型及其应用

平面坡体渐进破坏模型旨在通过在坡体稳定性分析中引进渐进坡坏的概念,来较合理地考虑岩土材料的峰值强度和残余强度在稳定性分析中的不同作用。通过与其它稳定性分析方法进行比较以及实例应用研究,证明该计算模型可用于初步判断坡体稳定状态并估算其破坏变形范围。这一研究也说明了水对边坡破坏的重要作用。     

陶瓷阻力曲线测定的新方法——断裂栅法

将零厚度单向试件栅刻蚀工艺应用于晶须增韧氮化硅陶瓷基复合材料表面，通过记录试件所在桥路的输出电压值，可得到随载荷不断增大裂纹逐渐向前扩展过程中每一时刻的裂尖位置和裂纹长度，从而得到该种材料的阻力曲线。     

Stress relaxation,creep, and internal stresses in high density polyethylene filled with calcium carbonate

The effect of filling high density polyethylene (HDPE) with calcium carbonate (up to 50% by weight) on the stress relaxation and the creep in uniaxial extension at room temperature was investigated. The addition of CaCO₃ was found to have a strong influence on the flow behaviour of HDPE. In particular, it was observed that the internal stress level, calculated from relaxation data, increased markedly with the filler content. The reduction in creep rate of the filled samples suggested that the CaCO₃-particles induce a change in the structure of the HDPE-interphase close to the filler surface. This was supported by dynamic mechanical measurements performed at low temperatures on swollen HDPE-CaCO₃ samples.     

Creeping flow of viscoplastic materials through a planar expansion followed by a contraction

In this work, the creeping flow of a viscoplastic fluid through a planar channel with an expansion followed by a contraction is analyzed numerically. The solution of the conservation equations of mass and momentum is obtained via the finite volume method. In order to model the non-Newtonian behavior of the fluid, it was used the generalized Newtonian fluid constitutive equation. The viscosity function was the one proposed by Souza Mendes and Dutra [Souza Mendes, P.R., Dutra, E.S.S., 2004. Viscosity function for yield-stress liquids. Appl. Rheol. 14, 296–302]. The yielded and unyielded regions are obtained for several combinations of rheological parameters. The influence of these parameters on pressure drop through the cavity is also obtained and analyzed.
