为了对Fourier级数进行近似计算和有效应用,必须研究其收敛性,这个课题有长久的历史,形成了数学分析中吸引包括许多著名数学家在内的学者研究的一条热烈但困难的主流.其中,在三角级数(Fourier级数)一致收敛性和平均收敛性问题中人们一直关心Fourier系数的单调递减条件最终的推广.这个开始于英国Chaundy-Jollife(1916年)和Young(1913年)的工作最近出现了突破性的进展,产生了许多完善的结果.本文将对这方面的历史、发展给出综述,并重点介绍最近的应用成果,并对以后的工作给出研究思路和线索.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the mean squared derivative cost functions that arise in various applications such as in motor control, biometrics and optimal transport theory. We provide qualitative properties, explicit analytical formulas and computational algorithms for the cost functions. We also perform numerical simulations to illustrate the analytical results. In addition, as a by‐product of our analysis, we obtain an explicit formula for the inverse of a Wronskian matrix that is of independent interest in linear algebra and differential equations theory. It is well-known that 6Tf(t)Tg(t)?Tfg(t)6t tends to 0 under certain smoothness assumptions imposed on f and g. This result was recently extended to f,gBUC(Cn) by Bauer and Coburn. We now further generalize (?) to (not necessarily bounded) uniformly continuous functions and symbols in the algebra VMOL of bounded functions having vanishing mean oscillation on Cn. Our approach is based on the algebraic identity Tf(t)Tg(t)?Tfg(t)=?(Hf¯(t))?Hg(t), where Hg(t) denotes the Hankel operator corresponding to the symbol g, and norm estimates in terms of the (weighted) heat transform. As a consequence, only f (or likewise only g) has to be contained in one of the above classes for (?) to vanish. For g we only have to impose limsupt06Hg(t)6t<, e.g. gL(Cn). We prove that the set of all symbols fL(Cn) with the property that limt0?6Tf(t)Tg(t)?Tfg(t)6t=limt0?6Tg(t)Tf(t)?Tgf(t)6t=0 for all gL(Cn) coincides with VMOL. In this paper, an algorithm based on the regularization and integral mean value methods, to handle the ill-posed multi-dimensional Fredholm equations, is introduced. The application of this algorithm is based on the transforming the first kind equation to a second kind equation by the regularization method. Then, by converting the first kind to a second kind, the integral mean value method is employed to handle the resulting Fredholm integral equations of the second kind. The efficiency of the approach will be shown by applying the procedure on some examples.  相似文献

High bit rates optical communication systems pose the challenge of their tolerance to linear and non-linear fiber impairments. Coherent optical receivers using digital signal processing techniques can mitigate the fiber impairments in the optical transmission system, including the chromatic dispersion equalization with digital filters. In this paper, an adaptive finite impulse response filter employing normalized least mean square algorithm is developed for compensating the chromatic dispersion in a 112-Gbit/s polarization division multiplexed quadrature phase shift keying coherent communication system, which is established in the VPI simulation platform. The principle of the adaptive normalized least mean square algorithm for signal equalization is analyzed theoretically, and at the meanwhile, the taps number and the tap weights in the adaptive finite impulse response filter for compensating a certain fiber chromatic dispersion are also investigated by numerical simulation. The chromatic dispersion compensation performance of the adaptive filter is analyzed by evaluating the behavior of the bit-error-rate versus the optical signal-to-noise ratio, and the compensation results are also compared with other present digital filters.  相似文献

Abstract

The general method of Lyapunov functionals construction, that was proposed by Kolmanovskii and Shaikhet and successfully used already for functional-differential equations, difference equations with discrete time, difference equations with continuous time, and is used here to investigate the stability in probability of nonlinear stochastic Volterra difference equations with continuous time. It is shown that the investigation of the stability in probability of nonlinear stochastic difference equation with order of nonlinearity more than one can be reduced to investigation of the asymptotic mean square stability of the linear part of this equation.  相似文献
