本文研究Toeplitz+Hankel线性方程组的预处理迭代解法.我们提出了几个新的预条件子,并分析了预处理矩阵的谱性质,当生成函数在Wiener类中时,预处理矩阵的特征值聚集在1附近.数值实验表明该预处理子比文[5]中的预处理子更有效.

完全刻画多重调和Bergman空间上Toeplitz算子和Hankel算子的紧性.运用紧Toeplitz算子这个结果,建立了Toeplitz代数和小Hankel代数的短正合列,推广了单位圆盘上相应的结果.     

Laurent biorthogonal polynomials, q-Narayana polynomials and domino tilings of the Aztec diamonds

A Toeplitz determinant whose entries are described by a q-analogue of the Narayana polynomials is evaluated by means of Laurent biorthogonal polynomials which allow of a combinatorial interpretation in terms of Schröder paths. As an application, a new proof is given to the Aztec diamond theorem by Elkies, Kuperberg, Larsen and Propp concerning domino tilings of the Aztec diamonds. The proof is based on the correspondence with non-intersecting Schröder paths developed by Johansson.     

Hankel matrices for system identification

The coefficients of a linear system, even if it is a part of a block-oriented nonlinear system, normally satisfy some linear algebraic equations via Hankel matrices composed of impulse responses or correlation functions. In order to determine or to estimate the coefficients of a linear system it is important to require the associated Hankel matrix be of row-full-rank. The paper first discusses the equivalent conditions for identifiability of the system. Then, it is shown that the row-full-rank of the Hankel matrix composed of impulse responses is equivalent to identifiability of the system. Finally, for the row-full-rank of the Hankel matrix composed of correlation functions, the necessary and sufficient conditions are presented, which appear slightly stronger than the identifiability condition. In comparison with existing results, here the minimum phase condition is no longer required for the case where the dimension of the system input and output is the same, though the paper does not make such a dimensional restriction.     

Continuity of the fractional Hankel wavelet transform on the spaces of type S

In this present article, we study the fractional Hankel transform and its inverse on certain Gel'fand‐Shilov spaces of type S. The continuous fractional wavelet transform is defined involving the fractional Hankel transform. The continuity of fractional Hankel wavelet transform is discussed on Gel'fand‐Shilov spaces of type S. This article goes further to discuss the continuity property of fractional Hankel transform and fractional Hankel wavelet transform on the ultradifferentiable function spaces.     

Fixed-point algorithms for frequency estimation and structured low rank approximation

We develop fixed-point algorithms for the approximation of structured matrices with rank penalties. In particular we use these fixed-point algorithms for making approximations by sums of exponentials, i.e., frequency estimation. For the basic formulation of the fixed-point algorithm we show that it converges to the solution of a related minimization problem, namely the one obtained by replacing the original objective function with its convex envelope and keeping the structured matrix constraint unchanged.It often happens that this solution agrees with the solution to the original minimization problem, and we provide a simple criterion for when this is true. We also provide more general fixed-point algorithms that can be used to treat the problems of making weighted approximations by sums of exponentials given equally or unequally spaced sampling. We apply the method to the case of missing data, although the above mentioned convergence results do not hold in this case. However, it turns out that the method often gives perfect reconstruction (up to machine precision) in such cases. We also discuss multidimensional extensions, and illustrate how the proposed algorithms can be used to recover sums of exponentials in several variables, but when samples are available only along a curve.     

A note on p-supersolvable groups

The notion of Hankel operators associated with analytic crossed products were introduced and researched in [2]. In this paper, we study the adjoint of Hankel operators and give necessary and sufficient condition that the adjoint of a Hankel operator is again a Hankel operator. Recursive relations for block Hankel and Toeplitz systems part II: Dual recursions

The recursive relations given in Part I of this report can be interpreted as recursions for the denominators of matrix Padé approximants. In this part we shall give dual relations for the corresponding numerators and residuals.
