We find a new relation among codimension algebraic cycles in the moduli space , and use this to calculate the elliptic Gromov-Witten invariants of projective spaces and .

     

Explicit construction of graph invariant for strongly pseudoconvex compact 3-dimensional rational CR manifolds

Let X be a strongly pseudoconvex compact 3-dimensional CR manifolds which bounds a complex variety with isolated singularities in some C^N. The weighted dual graph of the exceptional set of the minimal good resolution of V is a CR invariant of X; in case X has a tranversal holomorphic S¹ action, we show that it is a complete topological invariant of except for two special cases. When X is a rational CR manifolds, we give explicit algebraic algorithms to compute the graph invariant in terms of the ring structure of _k=0 m^k/m^k+1, where m is the maximal ideal of each singularity. An example is computed explicitly to demonstrate how the algorithms work.     

Equivalence and symmetries of first order differential equations

In this article, the equivalence and symmetries of underdetermined differential equations and differential equations with deviations of the first order are considered with respect to the pseudogroup of transformations . That means, the transformed unknown function is obtained by means of the change of the independent variable and subsequent multiplication by a nonvanishing factor. Instead of the common direct calculations, we use some more advanced tools from differential geometry; however, the exposition is self-contained and only the most fundamental properties of differential forms are employed. We refer to analogous achievements in literature. In particular, the generalized higher symmetry problem involving a finite number of invariants of the kind is compared to similar results obtained by means of auxiliary functional equations.     

Schläfli modular equations for generalized Weber functions

Sets of appropriately normalized eta quotients, that we call level n Weber functions, are defined, and certain identities generalizing Weber function identities are proved for these functions. Schläfli type modular equations are explicitly obtained for Generalized Weber Functions associated with a Fricke group Γ⁰(n)⁺, for n=2,3,5,7,11,13 and 17.     

Kähler manifolds of quasi-constant holomorphic sectional curvatures

The Kähler manifolds of quasi-constant holomorphic sectional curvatures are introduced as Kähler manifolds with complex distribution of codimension two, whose holomorphic sectional curvature only depends on the corresponding point and the geometric angle, associated with the section. A curvature identity characterizing such manifolds is found. The biconformal group of transformations whose elements transform Kähler metrics into Kähler ones is introduced and biconformal tensor invariants are obtained. This makes it possible to classify the manifolds under consideration locally. The class of locally biconformal flat Kähler metrics is shown to be exactly the class of Kähler metrics whose potential function is only a function of the distance from the origin in ? ⁿ . Finally we show that any rotational even dimensional hypersurface carries locally a natural Kähler structure which is of quasi-constant holomorphic sectional curvatures.
