Qualitative Theory and Identification of Dynamic System with One Degree of Freedom

Dynamic systems described by nonlinear differential equations of the second order are studied. It is assumed that certain preliminary information on the dissipative or elastic characteristics of systems is known. 激发对相干态的等阶Y压缩效应

用数值计算法研究了激发对相干态|ζ;m〉＝a^+mb^+m|ζ〉的等阶Y压缩效应.结果表明:对于态a^+mb^+m|ζ〉,光场存在着等阶K(＝2,3,4,5,…)次方Y压缩效应,但是随着场模上光子增加数m的增大,等阶K次方Y压缩效应减弱.     

Modification of multiwalled carbon nanotubes by carboxy groups and determination of the degree of functionalization

Multiwalled carbon nanotubes were modified by carboxy groups. Four independent methods for the determination of the degree of functionalization of the surface were proposed: ¹³C NMR spectroscopy, thermogravimetry, titrimetry, and fluorimetry. The first two methods show the total content of carboxy groups in the sample, and the latter two methods give information about the content of the surface groups only. PERIODIC SOLUTIONS OF PLANAR SYSTEM WITH SIX DELAYS

In this paper we obtain some sufficient conditions for the existence of non-constant periodic solutions of the following planar system with six delaysOur approach is based on the continuation theorem of the coincidence degree.     

Information processing,memories, and synchronization in chaotic neural network with the time delay

Information processing and two types of memory in an analog neural network model with time delay that produces chaos similar to the human and animal EEGs are considered. There are two levels of information processing in this neural network: the level of individual neurons and the level of the neural network. Similar to the state of brain, the state of chaotic neural network is defined. It is characterized by two types of memories (memory I and memory II) and correlation structure between the neurons. In normal (unperturbed) state, the neural network generates chaotic patterns of averaged neuronal activities (memory I) and patterns of oscillation amplitudes (memory II). In the presence of external stimulation, the activity patterns change, showing changes in both types of memory. As in experiments on stimulation of the brain, the neural network model shows synchronization of neuronal activities due to stimulus measured by Pearson's correlation coefficient. An increase in neural network asymmetry (increase of the neural network excitability) leads to the phenomenon similar to the epilepsy. Modeling of brain injury, Parkinson's disease, and dementia is performed by removing and weakening interneuron connections. In all cases, the chaotic neural network shows a decrease of the degree of chaos and changes in both types of memory similar to those observed in experiments with healthy human subjects and patients with Parkinson's disease and dementia. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A minimal pair joining to a plus cupping Turing degree

A computably enumerable (c.e.) degree a is called nonbounding, if it bounds no minimal pair, and plus cupping, if every nonzero c.e. degree x below a is cuppable. Let NB and PC be the sets of all nonbounding and plus cupping c.e. degrees, respectively. Both NB and PC are well understood, but it has not been possible so far to distinguish between the two classes. In the present paper, we investigate the relationship between the classes NB and PC , and show that there exists a minimal pair which join to a plus cupping degree, so that PC ? NB . 全同粒子间的玻色－爱因斯坦关联可以用来研究相对论性核碰撞中次级粒子源分布及有关的物理问题．本文用强子级联模型（ＨＣＭ）模拟２８Ｓｉ（１４．６ＡＧＣＶ／ｃ）＋Ａｕ反应，得到π－粒子的ｆｒｅｅｚｅ－ｏｕｔ状态，进而计算了π－π－关联函数，取得与实验一致的结果．还计算了ｆｒｅｅｚｅ—ｏｕｔπ－源的均方根线度，并讨论了它与拟合方法抽取的源参数间的关系．     

Statistical approach to light scattering from deformed textured heterogeneous polymer materials

A statistical theory of light scattering from deformed isotropic and textured heterogeneous polymer materials is formulated. Two types of textured structures are analyzed: assemblies of optically isotropic and anisotropic rods and a spatially anisotropic distribution of isotropic spherical inclusion centers. The small-angle H_v light-scattering patterns are calculated. The appearance of scattering from isotropic rods and spheres in deformed materials has been demonstrated. The changes of the H_v scattering patterns as a function of elongation and strucuture parameters are discussed. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
