In this paper a cubic lattice L(S) is endowed with a symmetric implication structure and it is proved that L(S) \ {0} is a power of the three-element simple symmetric implication algebra. We report on the lattice-mismatched growth of step-graded InxAl1−xAs buffer layers on GaAs (0 0 1) substrates by molecular beam epitay (MBE). The approach to growing highly lattice-mismatched epilayers is to interpose a buffer layer between the substrate and the active layer. Two samples G30 and G40 with active layer compositions, respectively, x = 0.46 and x = 0.41, are studied by photoluminescence (PL). At low temperature, the PL spectra show a large broadened band whose energy and intensity depend on the active layer composition. The step-graded layer compositions improved the crystalline quality of these structures and increase the active layer PL band intensity.  相似文献

In order to use dualization to study Hilbert functions of artinian level algebras we extend the notion of level sequences and cancellable sequences, introduced by Geramita and Lorenzini, to include Hilbert functions of certain artinian modules. As in the case of algebras a level sequence is cancellable, but now by dualization its reverse is also cancellable which gives a new condition on level sequences. We also give a characterization of the cancellable sequences involving Macaulay representations.  相似文献

We define a new algebra of noncommutative differential forms for any Hopf algebra with an invertible antipode. We prove that there is a one-to-one correspondence between anti-Yetter–Drinfeld modules, which serve as coefficients for the Hopf cyclic (co)homology, and modules which admit a flat connection with respect to our differential calculus. Thus, we show that these coefficient modules can be regarded as “flat bundles” in the sense of Connes’ noncommutative differential geometry.  相似文献

The core of an ideal is the intersection of all its reductions. We describe the core of a zero-dimensional monomial ideal I as the largest monomial ideal contained in a general reduction of I. This provides a new interpretation of the core in the monomial case as well as an efficient algorithm for computing it. We relate the core to adjoints and first coefficient ideals, and in dimension two and three we give explicit formulas.  相似文献
